“You’re Going to Jail”: Tom Homan Threatens Zero Tolerance Policy Against Anti-ICE Rioters and Those Funding Them [WATCH]

Speaking during an appearance on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures” with guest host Jason Chaffetz, Trump Administration Border Czar Tom Homan vowed that the ICE-led crackdown on crime will allow “zero tolerance” for protesters across the country who commit acts of violence against federal immigration officers, or their financial backers.

As background, Mr. Homan’s comments on the matter on Sunday, September 7, came in the wake of horrific and massive anti-ICE riots in Portland, Oregon, in which protesters have done everything from effectively placing the ICE facility under siege to threatening agents with death by parading a guillotine in front of the building.

Describing what is going to happen to those who continue attacking ICE agents and other federal immigration enforcement officers in the “Sunday Morning Futures” article, Mr. Homan vowed a “zero tolerance” policy against them, saying, “You throw a stone, you’re going to jail. You put hands on an ICE officer, you’re going to jail. You make a threat – online or in person – you’re going to jail.”

Further, Mr. Homan stressed that while peaceful protests and demonstrations are allowed under the First Amendment and thus will be respected, the sort of harmful actions targeting ICE agents that have come out of those protests will no longer be even sometimes tolerated by the federal authorities.

Building on that threat to hold all rioters accountable, Mr. Homan went on to describe to the guest host how the Trump Administration is using the full breadth of its resources and authority to figure out what groups and individuals are funding violent protests and riots so that they too can be held accountable for aiding and abetting illegal activities.

He said, commenting on that major effort to crack down on the likes of George Soros, “There’s a whole effort right now identifying those who are funding these operations, those who fund the weapons that are being used.” He added, “And they’ll be held accountable too and held to the highest standards of the law. They will be prosecuted, too.”

That wasn’t all. Mr. Homan also went nuclear on the sorts of politicians, particularly members of the United States Senate and House of Representatives, who wrote the very laws regarding immigration that ICE is now enforcing, but nevertheless have compared ICE to Nazis and terrorists. He said, “If ICE is racist for enforcing the law, what does that make them?”

Adding to that, Mr. Homan noted, speaking of Congress, “They wrote the law.” He continued, demanding they legislate rather than just whine about ICE in disgusting attacks, “So members of Congress, everyone that wants to attack ICE is disgusting. They’re an embarrassment to the position they hold. They’re members of Congress. If they don’t like what ICE is doing, then do your job and legislate.”

Concluding, he vowed that ICE would continue strictly enforcing the law until they do so, saying, “Until then, President Trump and the men and women of ICE are going to continue to prioritize public safety threats and national security threats and make this country safer every day.”
