WATCH: White House Outlines Game-Changing Tax Cuts for Middle-Class Americans

President Trump is clearly looking out for the middle class with his newly passed “Big, Beautiful Bill,” which comes with major tax benefits for working Americans, along with senior citizens, and parents of young children, leading many of the president’s supporters to celebrate on social media.

For context, while speaking to reporters on February 6, 2025, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt outlined the game-changing tax cuts that are coming for middle-class Americans, including no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and even tax cuts for products made in America. The benefits are provisions of President Trump’s “One Big, Beautiful Bill,” which made its way to the Senate on June 3, 2025.

In a video shared by Turning Point USA’s Frontlines, Leavitt explained that the tax priorities of the Trump Administration included “no tax on tips,” Which Leavitt clarified was “obviously a very public campaign promise the president made,” going on to say that the president was intent on eliminating tax on “seniors’ Social Security.”

In addition, Leavitt stated that the Trump Administration was working to renew President Trump’s 2017 middle-class tax cuts, which the House Ways & Means Committee argued would offer “the biggest relief to working-class Americans and small businesses in a generation.” In addition, the committee asserted, “The American people know Republicans, not Democrats, are the party of the working class and overwhelmingly voted for a return to President Trump’s economic playbook in November. ”

Furthermore, the White House press secretary explained that President Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill” would introduce tax cuts for Made in America products, which Rep. Jason Smith (R-MO) said would make “American manufacturers strong and prosperous again,” adding, “Conversely, President Biden has been a disaster for working men and women.”

In response to Leavitt’s comments, conservatives celebrated in the comments section on X, with a user named Michael writing, “Made about 20k in tips last year, as a father of 3 who is broke and struggling, THIS will change my life. Big T never fails.” Another commenter added, “This needs to be permanent. Congress do your jobs.”

In addition, on June 3, 2025, the White House released an article providing additional information about the biggest benefits that come with the “Big, Beautiful Bill,” saying that the removal of tax on tips and tax on overtime “makes good on two of President Trump’s cornerstone campaign promises and will benefit hardworking Americans where they need it the most — their paychecks.”

Moreover, the White House clarified that working-class Americans will benefit in several other ways from the bill, which will reportedly end “Democrats’ insane attack on the gig economy — ending the requirement that Venmo, PayPal, and other gig transactions over $600 be reported to the IRS.” In addition, the White House confirmed that the bill “renews 100% immediate expensing and interest deductions, increases the small business deduction, and establishes 100% immediate expensing for equipment and machinery.”
