WATCH: Tucker Interviews Ken Paxton, Exposes How Texas RINOs are Collaborating with Democrats, Floats Bid to Remove RINO Senator

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton just appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show on X (formerly Twitter), Tucker on X, and finally gave his side of the story about the impeachment drama, how he fought back against the state legislature, how the RINOs in that legislature are in bed with Republicans, and how he drew strength from the support he received from former President Donald Trump.

Attorney General Paxton of Texas, for reference, was impeached in the Texas House but then acquitted by the more conservative Texas Senate. His impeachment was the result of allegations of corruption and the misuse of taxpayer dollars.

Speaking to Tucker in the interview, AG Paxton explained how the Republicans in the House relied on President Joe Biden’s legal goons to persecute him, saying, “They were investigating me, and two of them came from the Biden [Justice Department]. That’s not an accident, they were sent there.”

Continuing, he added that he thinks that the impeachment shows he and Gov. Gregg Abbott have managed to irk the Biden Administration severely, saying, “I think that was the motivation. We were causing a lot of trouble for the Biden administration… I think we were winning 77 percent of our cases.”

Also in the interview, Paxton explained how the “moderate” Republicans in Teax are collaborating with the Democrats to put RINOs in positions of power, saying, “Whoever gives those Democrats the most—whatever Republican agrees to the most—gets elected.”

Carlson couldn’t believe it. His jaw on the floor in surprise, he asked, “So you’re saying that the Republican Speaker of Texas is chosen by the Democrats?” AG Paxton confirmed the shocking and depressing news, telling Carlson, “Pretty much,”

Beyond complaining about the state of the Texas GOP, AG Paxton suggested he might get involved in removing one of the worst RINOs: Senator John Cornyn, who helped the Democrats push a national gun control bill, much to the annoyance and anger of most conservatives.

Speaking about a potential Cornyn challenge, AG Paxton said, “Look, everything’s on the table for me. Now that I’ve been through this, and I’ve seen how guys like John Cornyn have represented the state of Texas and not represented us, I think it’s time somebody needs to step up and run against this guy that will do the job and do it the right way.”

But despite having some hope about getting rid of Cornyn, AG Paxton realizes that the knives are out for conservatives like him and Tucker. Commenting on the matter, he said, “I think if they could, they’d put me in jail. I don’t think they’re gonna stop.”

He then went on to note that now many judges are “political” in outlook and so are not focused on following and fairly enforcing the law, but instead locking up their political opponents. “It’s a scary prospect for people like us. But if we don’t keep going, we concede. We lose. We all lose,” he said.
