WATCH: Rioters Crack Federal Agents’ Windshield in California While Throwing Rocks at ICE

A jarring video filmed inside an ICE vehicle shows rioters throwing rocks at federal agents during the ongoing protests in Los Angeles, with one rock going straight into the windshield of the vehicle and cracking it, a display of overt violence from the left in response to the Trump Administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration.

For context, tensions rose to a fever pitch on June 5, 2025, when leftist protestors began destroying property and rioting in downtown Los Angeles, California, as a reaction to the detaining of local illegal immigrants by ICE personnel. As the violence escalated, President Trump called in the National Guard on June 7, a decision that was condemned by California’s woke officials.

In a video that was presumably filmed by a federal agent, chaos can be seen out the windows of a vehicle moving through the streets of downtown Los Angeles. As the vehicle moved through a crowd of protestors and federal personnel, a rock hit the windshield, audibly cracking it in a glaring example of the belligerence of the protestors.

Moreover, the video was posted online a day after President Trump sent an official memorandum authorizing Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to dispatch National Guard units in LA to quell the riots. The president wrote, “In light of these incidents and credible threats of continued violence, by the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I hereby call into Federal service members and units of the National Guard under 10 U.S.C. 12406.”

Continuing, the president added that he was ordering the dispatching of the National Guard “to temporarily protect ICE and other United States Government personnel who are performing Federal functions, including the enforcement of Federal law, and to protect Federal property, at locations where protests against these functions are occurring or are likely to occur based on current threat assessments and planned operations.”

Predictably, the woke Attorney General of California, Rob Bonta, announced on June 9, 2025, that he is suing the Trump Administration for deploying the National Guard in Los Angeles, a decision that he described as “unlawful.” Bonta told the press, “The president is trying to manufacture chaos and crisis on the ground for his own political ends. Federalizing the California National Guard is an abuse of the President’s authority under the law — and not one we take lightly. We’re asking a court to put a stop to the unlawful, unprecedented order.”

Furthermore, California Governor Gavin Newsom said in a June 9 press release that President Trump was “creating fear and terror by failing to adhere to the U.S. Constitution and overstepping his authority.” The governor went on to call the riots “a manufactured crisis,” which he said was President Trump’s attempt to “take over a state militia.”

In addition, Gov. Newsom said that “every governor, red or blue” should condemn President Trump’s response to the riots, adding, “This is beyond incompetence — this is him intentionally causing chaos, terrorizing communities, and endangering the principles of our great democracy. It is an unmistakable step toward authoritarianism. We will not let this stand.”
