Woke congresswoman Jasmine Crockett had yet another berserk meltdown while speaking to a crowd of Democrats at an anti-Elon Musk rally, saying that her party was going to get in the faces of Republicans as a demonstration of democracy, along with other bizarre comments that were subsequently roasted by conservatives.
For context, at a “Nobody Elected Elon” rally in Washington, D.C., on February 4, 2025, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) accused Elon Musk of desecrating the Constitution with his work to root out waste, fraud, and corruption within the federal government. In addition, the Democratic representative addressed Republicans, saying her party was going to be “on your a–es” and drawing applause from a crowd that included other prominent leftist politicos like Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA).
In her rant, Rep. Crockett fiercely criticized Elon Musk and Republicans at large, saying, “We are not going to sit around while you go ahead and desecrate our Constitution.” Continuing, Crockett said that her party would not let Mr. Musk “look at the laws that have been passed into law and say ‘never mind, we’ll just ignore them.'”
Continuing, the representative said that her party was going to be “in your faces,” referring to Republicans. As the gathered crowd began to applaud, Rep. Crockett’s tone intensified and she began gesturing wildly, saying, “We’re gonna be on your a–es; we’re gonna make sure that you understand that this is what Democracy looks like.” She added, “This ain’t it.”
Furthermore, during her speech, Rep. Crockett also expressed gratitude to the gathered Democrats who came out to protest Mr. Musk’s role as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), saying, “I’m going to try my best not to preach. I just want to say thank you, because every day that we show up in D.C., we show up for you.” She added, We know who we work for. We know that we work for the American people. And what we’re not going to do is stand around while they pull this stuff they’re trying to pull.”
In addition, Rep. Crockett told the crowd, “I know some of y’all have been frustrated, and you’ve been saying, ‘We’re Democrats—where are our leaders?'” She added, “Well, I’m here to tell you that we ain’t never left y’all.” Later, the representative said that she and her fellow Democrats on the House Oversight Committee were attempting to limit Mr. Musk’s influence in the government, saying, “‘Hold on a second, we gotta check to see if you can come in.'”
Moving on, the representative said that President Trump “likes to pal around with Putin” and made the baseless accusation that the president is “trying to turn us into Russia.” She retorted, “But I got news for him: We the people will not go.” She repeated herself saying, “It’s cold out here, and yep—yeah—we won’t go. We won’t go. We won’t go. We won’t go.”

Concluding her speech, Rep. Crockett said, “There are those who have said that we may face a Constitutional crisis. I want you to know that the crisis is here, going on to quote Kamala Harris, saying, “‘Dark times may be ahead of us. But she said it’s only in the darkness that we can see the stars.'” She added, “The stars are right here. It is time for us to shine.”
