WATCH: Fetterman and AOC Get in Another Ridiculous Fight after Fetterman Calls Her Out for Anti-ICE Rhetoric

Sen. John Fetterman, who often breaks rank with his fellow Democrats, majorly butted heads with far-left congresswoman AOC once again, leading Ocasio-Cortez to fire back with a fierce critique of Fetterman, along with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which she described as “one of the most lawbreaking agencies” in the country.

For background, in an interview on June 10, 2025, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was approached by a reporter, who asked her to weigh in on Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) and his critique of AOC and other Democrats who were unwilling to condemn the violent anti-ICE protests that broke out in Los Angeles starting on June 6. In response, AOC said that Sen. Fetterman should instead be criticizing President Trump, whom the congresswoman later said should be impeached.

While walking on Capitol Hill, AOC was approached by a journalist, who asked her, “Senator Fetterman said that your party loses the moral high ground when you refuse to condemn the violence that we’re seeing in L.A. What do you say to Senator Fetterman?” In response, AOC once again was unwilling to condemn the riots, instead turning her attention to ICE.

Replying to the reporter, AOC stuck to her typical script, saying, “I mean, I think we should absolutely condemn the violence of ripping apart families, of ICE breaking the law, of them going into elementary schools and churches and raiding workplaces.”

Continuing, the congresswoman added, “And I absolutely condemn ICE’s consistently illegal activity and the fact that they are, um, and the fact that they’re also rounding up U.S. citizens and also documented people who are here legally with no regard for the court system and, uh, judicial injunctions.”

Moreover, AOC addressed Sen. Fetterman directly, saying, “I think that if Senator Fetterman or anybody else is with law and order, we should be looking at one of the most lawbreaking agencies and administrations that we’ve seen in the United States.” Ripping into the president, she added, “We also have a convicted felon in the White House as well, so that’s my primary concern.”

A few days later, on June 23, 2025, Sen. Fetterman fired back at AOC in a Fox News interview after the congresswoman said that President Trump should be impeached following the strikes on Iran. The senator said, “Of course, no [he should not be impeached].” Referring to AOC, he added, “She knows it. I know it. We all know it… that’s not going anywhere. He’s been impeached twice, and now he’s still our president as well too, so it’s not going anywhere, and I don’t think [bringing up impeachment is] helpful.”

Importantly, AOC had previously posted on X explicitly stating that the president should be impeached, writing, “The President’s disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers.” She added, “He has impulsively risked launching a war that may ensnare us for generations. It is absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment.”
