In a bombshell interview, Elon Musk revealed multiple new discoveries of fraud and corruption within the federal government, including Democrats’ use of NGOs to launder money and the stealing of 400,000 Americans’ Social Security numbers by a scammer, who Musk said may soon be arrested.
For context, in an April 1, 2025, interview with Fox News anchor Jesse Watters, Tesla CEO and DOGE leader Elon Musk spoke in detail about the prevalence of fake charity organizations run by Democrats, which Mr. Musk described as a massive money laundering scheme used to scam American taxpayers out of their hard-earned money.
In the interview, Watters asked Musk to share details on the recent discovery of Social Security fraud, inquiring, “You said that arrests were imminent. What can you tell us about that?” Watters then added, “And, what can you tell us about what you’ve seen politicians do to make massive amounts of money off of the federal government, like Nancy Pelosi?”
Responding, Mr. Musk explained the extent of the fraud that DOGE had uncovered before answering Watters’ questions in detail. Musk told Watters, “There’s really so much fraud. [We’re] deciding what should be prosecuted first, because it’s such a long list; you have to actually prioritize lists.”
Continuing, Musk explained that he is doing all that he can to bring corrupt politicians to justice. He explained, “I have a maniacal sense of urgency, so when I see that terrible fraud has happened, I’m like, ‘Why haven’t we arrested someone already?’ But as the saying goes, the wheels of justice turn slowly.”
Moving forward with his explanation, Mr. Musk revealed a shocking case of government fraud and hinted that the first arrest may be made soon, saying, “I think probably the person that stole 400,000 Social Security numbers, at least, maybe more, will be arrested, hopefully this week.”
Explaining further, Mr. Musk detailed DOGE’s discovery of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that have been hotbeds for federal fraud and waste. Musk told Watters, “You know, with respect to the non-governmental organizations, these, these sort of fake NGOs, I think there needs to be a number of arrests in that regard as well, because these, these are, these are fake charities, where mostly Democrats…sometimes throw the Republicans a bone to say, “Hey, be quiet about this.”

Nearing the conclusion of the interview, Musk clarified exactly how fraudulent NGOs are contributing to the Democratic Party’s corruption. He explained, “They give these billions of dollars to NGOs run by Democrats that then go through a whole network of additional NGOs, this giant money laundering scheme.” He then added, “Really, at this point, I think the words NGO and money laundering are almost synonymous.”
