Dave Chappelle recently appeared on SNL for an episode that the show’s woke writers refused to work on (and so was one of the first funny episodes in a long time).
In the episode, Chappelle shocked audiences with his jokes and comments, which covered everything from Trump to Kanye and his comments about Jewish people.
At one point, for example, Chappelle brilliantly explained why Trump is so popular, as you can watch here:

The key part there is where Chappelle said “He’s very loved. And the reason he’s loved is because people in Ohio have never seen somebody like him.”
Of course, Chappelle is still a lib, so he went on to spread all the usual lies about Trump’s “Russia collusion”. But, still, the point about Trump being unique, particularly to real Americans in the heartland was a good one.
Chappelle also commented on Kanye, who he said lost $1.5 billion “in a day” for criticizing the Jews, and on Jewish overrepresentation in certain industries, saying:
“I learned that there are two words in the English language that you should never say together in sequence. And those words are ‘the’ and ‘Jews.'”
Continuing, Chappelle went on to say that it’s a game of ‘perception’. In his words, “If they’re black, it’s a gang. If they’re Italian, it’s a mob. If they’re Jewish, it’s a coincidence and you should neeeever speak about it.“
Watch that here:
Chappelle also gave some joking advice to Kanye when reading off the usual statement about denouncing anti-Semitism, saying:
“I denounce antisemitism in all its forms, and I stand with my friends in the Jewish community. And that, Kanye, is how you buy yourself some time.”
Also during the episode, Chappelle said that he could see how West would “adopt the delusion that the Jews run show business.” Continuing, he said that it’s “not a crazy thing to think – but it’s a crazy thing to say out loud in a climate like this.”
Adding to that, Chappelle then said “I know the Jewish people have been through terrible things all over the world, but you can’t blame that on Black Americans. You just can’t.”
Ending his monologue, Chappelle blasted the current climate and how difficult it has made joke telling, saying “it shouldn’t be this scary to talk about anything, it makes my job incredibly difficult.”
But he wasn’t cowed by it. Ending on a joke referencing his earlier “you just can’t say it” type comments, Chappelle joked “I hope they don’t take anything away from me,” he said. “Whoever they are.”
