“Tweet of the Year”: Trump White House Applauded for Epic “Four Simple Truths” Tweet

In a hilarious post to X, the White House made a meme that set the internet ablaze. Listing a series of statements, the post, captioned “four simple truths,” produced a massive reaction from conservatives who labeled it “the tweet of the year.”

For context, since the 2024 election, the White House X account has been posting hilarious memes about the president’s accomplishments. Despite drawing the ire of snowflakes, these posts have won Trump solid support on the internet for the hilarious content.

Such was shown when the White House posted its meme on May 2, 2025. The post, which was captioned “four simple truths,” had four images, each with a different picture and a caption. One showed Kamala Harris with text that read, “not the president,” another featured a photo of deported illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia with the caption ” not a Maryland man.”

Concluding the hilarious post, two more images showed off the NPR logo and a map of the newly named Gulf of America. The captions read, “Not news” and “not Gulf of Mexico” respectively. As expected, the post went massively viral and garnered over 60,000 likes.

When conservatives saw the humorous post, they flocked to the comments to laugh. One such comment read, “🤣 The official White House just made the TWEET OF THE YEAR.” Chiming in, another user added, “They have the best person handling social media 🔥”

Shortly after posting this hilarious meme, the official White House account retweeted a response from Assistant DHS Director Trician McLaughlin, which demolished the so-called “Maryland man narrative.” Her post read, “Facts you won’t hear from mainstream media’s coverage of “the Maryland man,” a known MS13 gang member, human trafficker, and serial domestic violence perpetrator.”

Continuing to demolish the woke media, she said, “In 2019, Kilmar Abrego Garcia was arrested with other, since deported, MS-13 gang members, decked out in MS-13 symbols with drugs and rolls of cash. In 2020 and 2021, his wife filed domestic violence protective orders against him, accusing him of kicking her, slapping her, mentally abusing her kids, even locking the children in a room and detaining her against her will.”

Concluding her epic beatdown, McLaughlin promised that the “Maryland man” would never trouble Americans again. She promised, “The media and Democrats have exposed themselves as apologists for criminals who would rather see terrorists roam American streets than protect our citizens. President Trump and Secretary Noem stand with victims, fighting to keep monsters like Garcia out of our communities. Buried under the weight of truth, the media and Democrats will soon slink away from their pathetic defense of this criminal. Let us be crystal clear: Kilmar Abrego Garcia will never be on American streets again.”

This is far from the first time the White House has clashed with NPR, as we reported, President Trump savaged the woke broadcaster. He said, “We’re well covered. Look at all the people that we have here today. We’re well covered, and we don’t need it. And it’s a waste of money, especially. I don’t even know what DOGE’s recommendation is.”

The president continued his remarks and signaled that he may soon defund these far-left rags. He added, “I assume their recommendation is to close them up. Well, after they hear all the testimony, I think they’re going to make a decision relatively sooner than later. But we’ll see what that turns out. I can’t imagine that they wouldn’t because they have found so much waste, fraud, and abuse.”
