President Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, is scheduled to compete against Tiger Woods’ son, Charlie Woods, at the Junior Invitational golf tournament at Sage Valley, South Carolina, next month.  The tournament features the nation’s most talented young golfers, where Kai and Charlie will show off their skills on the course.

According to reports, it is anticipated that 60 golfers will compete at the invitational tournament in March. Kai is known as a golf sensation, having recently committed to play on the women’s golf team at the University of Miami.  Trump’s granddaughter has also become a prominent golf influencer, amassing millions of followers on social media.

Charlie Woods has also made numerous appearances alongside his father, such as their duo performances at the PNC Championship.  Additionally, Charlie is set to compete in the Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, at the end of the month.

The American Tribune previously reported on comments from Kai sharing how President Trump, an avid golfer himself, will often call her to check on her golf game. “Yesterday I was I was going through my my voicemails. I saw a few voicemails for my grandpa, because if I call him, he always picks up, but if he doesn’t, if he’s like, in an interview or whatever, he’ll call me back. And it’s always at like, 12 o’clock at night, and also sleeping at 12,” she said.

Kai added, “And I was looking back at, like, the voicemails that I got from him. And so it’s like, Hi Kai, how’s your golf game, or it’s your favorite president, how’s your golf game, or how are you doing, or how school, or what’s a sweetie is so nice. Like, I look, I went through all that yesterday and, like, it’s like, warm my heart. I don’t know. I felt bad that never picked up this boy on his golf but it’s okay. I always call him back. But like, in the morning.”

A viral video of Kai speaking about her grandfather also illustrated how “truly motivating” he is to her.  According to Kai, she wants to be “just like him” when she grows up.  “He doesn’t take any breaks, doesn’t do anything, really decide to work. And it’s just, like, truly motivating to see that every single day and have that as a role model,” she said.

Kai continued, “Because when I grew up, I want to just be like him and just fight like him, and don’t take any days off, and just keep on working, work my butt off, just like how he does. And it’s just truly incredible.” She also noted, “And the election night was really, like, special for our whole family, because it really just we fought to the very end, and yes, it’s his last time running. So, so special for him to win, because he really deserves this.”

“And after everyone, like, what everyone has put him through, it made me tear up, like, after him winning Pennsylvania, like, I just started, like, tearing up, knowing that he made it, and he finally just fought back and he won,” she said. “He won the race, and I’m really excited to see what he’s gonna do for the next few years.”
