Trump White House Hilariously Roasts Hillary Clinton as “Big-Time Loser” and “Massive Liar” in Epic Social Media Spat

The Trump White House hilariously ripped into failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, with Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson calling Clinton a “big-time loser” and a “massive liar” during an epic social media spat that centered around wild claims made by Hillary about crime rates in Washington, D.C, and her response to President Trump’s decision to federalize the capital.

For background, on August 11, 2025, Hillary Clinton took to X to criticize President Trump’s decision to federalize Washington, D.C., in response to rampant crime. Clinton claimed that violent crime in the District of Columbia was at a 30-year low, citing a January 2025 press release from the United States Attorney’s Office. However, White Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson set the record straight.

In her August 11 X post, Clinton wrote, “As you listen to an unhinged Trump try to justify deploying the National Guard in DC, here’s reality: Violent crime in DC is at a 30-year low.” Moreover, Clinton shared a screenshot of a Truth Social post from the president confirming the federalization of the District of Columbia, in which Trump wrote, “The days of ruthlessly killing, or hurting, innocent people, are OVER!”

Moreover, Clinton cited a January 3, 2025, press release from the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia in her post, which reported that “total violent crime” in D.C. had decreased 35% from 2023 “and is at the lowest it has been in over 30 years. The press release referred to data “collected by the Metropolitan Police Department.”

In her response to Clinton, Deputy Press Secretary Jackson pulled no punches, saying, “On top of being a big-time loser, you’re also a massive liar.” She attached a chart showing that the 2024 murder rate in Washington, D.C., had hit over 25 per 100,000, leading one commenter to quip, “Nobody believes anything said by Hillary Clinton.”

Furthermore, Deputy Press Secretary Jackson shared a screenshot of a news story documenting the suspension of Washington, D.C.’s police commander based on accusations that he had changed crime statistics. The suspended commander, Michael Pulliam, allegedly engaged in “deliberately falsifying crime data.” Furthermore, Fraternal Order of Police Chairman Gregg Pemberton called the reported decrease in violent crime in D.C. “preposterous.”

In addition, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries posted a similar response to the federalization of D.C. on social media, writing, “Violent crime in Washington, D.C. is at a thirty-year low. Donald Trump has no basis to take over the local police department. And zero credibility on the issue of law and order. Get lost.” However, Jeffries also got roasted by conservatives on X, who accused him of “spreading disinformation.”

Responding to Rep. Jeffries’s take on the federalization of the District of Columbia,  conservative commentator Gunther Eagleman wrote, “This could be the dumbest post on X today! Congrats, Hakeem.” Another commenter added, “Why are you spreading disinformation? The DC Police Chief was fired for lying about violent crime statistics. Violent crime in DC is near record highs.”
