Trump Brings the Receipts to Torch Gavin Newsom

In a hilarious interaction, President Donald Trump set the record straight with the liberal Democratic Governor of California, who claimed that the president never contacted him about deploying the National Guard to Los Angeles.

During the conversation, Trump hilariously told the governor to “get his *ss in gear,” and criticized him for failing to adequately respond to the mass violence plaguing LA. Instead of taking responsibility, Newsom tried to blame the president in a series of desperate excuses.

Starting off the interaction, Gavin Newsom claimed that “There was no call. Not even a voicemail” from the White House. Bringing the specifics, Trump stated he called Newsom “A day ago. Called him up to tell him, gotta do a better job, he’s doing a bad job, causing a lot of death and a lot of potential death.”

Describing more details of their conversation, Trump said, “First call was not picked up. Second call, Gavin picked up, we spoke for 16 minutes. I told him to, essentially, ‘get his *ss in gear,’ and stop the Riots, which were out of control. More than anything else, this shows what a liar he is – Said I never called. Here is the evidence.”

Continuing his epic rebuke, he said, “If we didn’t send out the National Guard, and last time we gave them a little additional help, you would have, Los Angeles would be burning right now. Los Angeles would not be a lot different than what you saw take place in California, and help, you would have, Los Angeles would be burning right now.”

Melting down epically, Gavin Newsom has tried to pin this disaster on the president. He whined, “Americans should be alarmed that a President deploying Marines onto our streets doesn’t even know who he’s talking to.”

Making more wild claims, the Democrat said, “Donald Trump has created the conditions you see on your TV tonight. He’s exacerbated the conditions. He’s, you know, lit the proverbial match. He’s putting fuel on this fire ever since he announced he was taking over the National Guard in an illegal act, in an amoral act, an unconstitutional act, and we’re going to test that theory with a lawsuit tomorrow.”

As we reported, Trump appears to be winning this rhetorical battle, as evident in his humorous comments about the rioters. The president declared, “I see those protests spreading to other cities, Chicago, New York, for example, in the next few days, yes, we’re going to be watching it very closely. And when they spit at people, you know, they spit. That’s their new thing. They spit.”

Still not done making fun of the protestors, Trump said, “And worse, you know what they throw at them, right? And when that happens, I have a little statement. They say they spit. We hit, and I know them, nobody’s going to spit on our police officers, nobody’s going to spit on our military, which they do, is a common thing.”

Concluding his remarks, the president explained, “They get up to them this far away, and then they start spitting in their face. That happens. They get hit very hard in the rules engagement. See what happens if we think there’s a serious insurrection, or less than that, we’re going to have law and order.”
