Tom Homan Prepares Criminal Case Against AOC as She Dares Him to Try It

Tensions continue to rise between border czar Tom Homan and woke lawmaker AOC, with Homan reportedly exploring legal avenues to hold Rep. Ocasio-Cortez accountable for what he argues is behavior that directly obstructs federal immigration enforcement.

For context, on February 14, 2025, Tom Homan appeared on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” segment, telling host Laura Ingraham that he believed that AOC’s recent “Know Your Rights” webinar was hindering the federal government’s efforts to find, detain, and deport illegal alien criminals. Furthermore, Homan confirmed that he was actively looking for opportunities to bring AOC to justice for her insubordination.

In the interview, Ingraham asked Homan for his opinion on AOC’s recent webinar, saying, “Tom, you got AOC out there, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Congresswoman, putting out a webinar, doing a webinar to help illegals avoid, I guess, apprehension.” Ingraham added that AOC was “giving tips about how to continue to remain in the country and, ultimately, game the system.”

In response, Homan said that he had sent an email to United States Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, asking, “At what level is that impediment?” Homan added, “Is that an impediment? I’m not an attorney. I’m not a prosecutor. Is that an impediment? Is that impeding our law enforcement efforts? If so, what are we going to do about it? Is she crossing the line? So, I’m working with the Department of Justice to find out where that line they crossed.”

Continuing, Homan said that it is possible that “AOC is going to be in trouble now, adding, “But I need the AOG to opine on that, because there’s an impediment, it’s an impediment in my opinion. I’m not a prosecutor, but we need some further guidance on that.” He continued, “But again, if we have to take every federal dollar out of the city, we’re — I mean, we’re done.”

Furthermore, Homan clarified that his efforts to hold AOC accountable are “about public safety,” adding, “This is about community safety. Knowingly releasing a public safety [threat] back into public is just stupid. You’re putting the public at great risk, you’re putting our officers at great risk, you’re even putting the illegal alien at great risk because anything can happen on arrest on the street. So, we just want to make common sense in sanctuary cities.”

Concluding the interview with Ingraham, Homan stated that blue states like New York would need to be prepared for ICE to arrest illegal immigrants, whether liberal officials comply or not. “If they want to step aside, step aside,” Homan said, “We’re coming, we’re going to do it for you. If you don’t want to make your community safer, President Trump is going to.”

Following Homan’s comments, AOC reportedly belligerently pushed back during a town hall meeting in Queens, saying, “Our rights are ‘use it or lose it.’ So, we need to use it.” She continued, “There’s nothing wrong about it, and there’s nothing illegal about it. And if they want to make it illegal, they can come take me. That’s how I feel about it.”
