Tim Walz Staffer Caught Attacking Teslas, Causing Tens of Thousands of Dollars in Damage

In a shocking case of anti-Elon vandalism, a 33-year-old Tim Walz staffer was caught on camera dealing thousands of dollars of damage to Teslas, including more than $10,000 of reported damage to a single vehicle, but a woke district attorney let him walk without any criminal charges.

For context, Dylan Adams, a Minnesota state government employee, was accused of keying multiple Teslas, leading to his arrest in mid-April 2025. However, before Adams stood trial, the Hennepin County, Minnesota Attorney’s Office stated that it was unlikely that Adams would face any criminal charges — a speculation that was later proved correct.

After Adams was arrested, press accounts confirmed that the Minneapolis District Attorney, Mary Moriarty, would not press charges against Adams, with Moriarty explaining, that would get a pre-charge diversion instead, saying, “This is an approach taken in many property crime cases and helps to ensure the individual keeps their job and can pay restitution, as well as reducing the likelihood of repeat offenses. Criminal prosecution remains a possibility should unlawful behavior continue.”

In addition, the Department of Human Services, Adams’ employer, issued a statement following Adams’ arrest, saying, “We are reviewing the matter at this time. State employees are expected to follow our code of conduct and hold themselves to the highest ethical standards through their words and actions.”

Following Adams’ arrest, a statement was issued by Daniel Borgertpoepping, a spokesperson for the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, who said, “What Mr. Adams did was wrong and we are holding him accountable for keying the cars. The HCAO did not reject or decline this case.” However, Borgertpoepping added, “We offered diversion as we often do with property damage cases when the person has no record.”

In addition, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara also made a statement regarding the decision not to press charges, saying, “This case impacted at least six different victims and totaled over $20,000 in damages. Any frustration related to the charging decision of the Hennepin County Attorney should be directed solely at her office.” Chief O’Hara then added, “Our investigators are always frustrated when the cases they poured their hearts into are declined. In my experience, the victims in these cases often feel the same.”

Reacting to Moriarty letting Adams go free, Tom Emmer (R-MN), Majority Whip of the House of Representatives, expressed his outrage on X, saying, “Soros-backed DA Mary Moriarty let Tesla terrorist, Dylan Bryan Adams, walk free after he caused over $20,000 in damages. Yet, when a 19-year-old in the same county keyed her co-worker’s car, resulting in damages estimated at $7,000, she is facing first-degree felony charges.”

In response to Rep. Emmer’s post, user Sue Ellen weighed in on Moriarty’s leftist bias, saying, “Dylan Bryan Adams should be referred for federal prosecution. Minnesota’s two-tiered judicial system has failed its citizens once again. Mary Moriarty needs to be removed from office. She proves time and time again that she is a partisan activist.”
