“Things are Getting Spicy”: Internet Explodes as FBI Head Kash Patel, GOP Senator Tag Team Exposing Pelosi’s J6 Responsibility [WATCH]

In a bombshell appearance in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which sent the internet ablaze, Kash Patel revealed new details about Nancy Pelosi’s role in the infamous January 6th riots. While speaking with Republican Senator Ted Cruz (TX), Patel stated that Pelosi had blocked Trump from deploying the National Guard on that fateful day, indicating her complicity in the scandal.

As background, the clip comes from a January 30, 2025, Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Kash Patel’s nomination for FBI Director. In the fraught hearing, Patel faced tough questions about his criticisms of the FBI and his views on the January 6 protests.

As we previously reported, while responding to Sen. Cruz’s questions, Patel discussed his actions on January 6th. He stated, “On that day, specifically responding to preparing to mobilize and deploy the National Guard once we got the lawful request from the local governing authority, which was the mayor of DC and the Speaker of the House.”

Providing additional context, Patel explained that preparations were made days in advance. He said, “Senator, we were in the Oval Office on an unrelated national security matter with the president of the United States, the Secretary of Defense, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and myself, and the President authorized up to 20,000 plus National Guardsmen and women to secure any security measures necessary related to the Capitol. So, we were moving to the fullest extent of the law before the requisite request came from a local governing authority.”

Continuing to ask insightful questions, Cruz inquired about the communications between the DOD and the Capitol Police. He asked, “And while you were Chief of Staff at DOD, how many times did DOD approach Capitol Police and ask if they needed National Guard assistance?”

Confidently answering, Patel said, “I believe those letters are well documented. There were numerous instances, and numerous of those instances, where those requests were shut down.” He also confirmed that the sergeant at arms, who reports to Nancy Pelosi, refused any assistance.

Reacting to Patel’s revelations, prominent conservative influencer Ryan Fournier posted, “WOAH! Kash Patel was just asked about Nancy Pelosi’s actions on J6 by Ted Cruz! Things are getting spicy! 🔥🔥🔥” Echoing Fournier’s shock, many conservatives took to the comments to congratulate the two Republicans on their tenacity and transparency.

Speculating on Patel’s performance as FBI director, one commenter said, “The Democrats are deathly afraid of Kash because he will expose all of their corruption and hold them accountable.” Building on this point, another user added, “Kash will do a fantastic job as FBI director. It’s hammer time.”

Rounding out the comments, a social media user described how Patel’s confident answers reveal his qualifications for the job. The user noted, “I have to say, although I liked Trump’s appointments in principle, I worried there might be some truth to claims that many of them are unqualified. I have been happily surprised at how d*mn competent they have all shown themselves to be in these hearings.”

Patel’s remarks, echo comments by deputy FBI director Dan Bongino who noted in a post to X, formerly Twitter, “Thanks for following this account and allowing us to update you about what we’re doing at your FBI. A few updates,” adding, “The Director and I will have most of our incoming reform teams in place by next week. The hiring process can take a little bit of time, but we are approaching that finish line. This will help us both in doubling down on our reform agenda.”

Carrying on with his update, he said, “Shortly after swearing in, the Director and I evaluated a number of cases of potential public corruption that, understandably, have garnered public interest. We made the decision to either re-open, or push additional resources and investigative attention, to these cases.”

Describing which cases would be reopened, Bongino said, “These cases are the DC pipe bombing investigation, the cocaine discovery at the prior administration’s White House, and the leak of the Supreme Court Dobbs case. I receive requested briefings on these cases weekly and we are making progress. If you have any investigative tips on these matters that may assist us then please contact the FBI.”
