Speaking to reporters about the increasingly dangerous situation in Los Angeles, President Donald Trump issued a stern warning to both California’s woke politicians and the violent anti-ICE protesters, saying that those who deserve to face charges will certainly be facing charges from his administration.
Funnily, Trump kicked the situation off with a joke at the reporters’ expense, joking, “We have Marco. And I say, ‘Come on, let’s go see the fake news and enjoy ourselves. Get a couple of nice questions.'” Then, turning from the joke to letting the media start peppering him, Trump said, “Who are you? Would like to ask a question.”
The female reporter to whom he had addressed his remark then asked the question on everyone’s mind: will the president invoke the Insurrection Act to crack down on the violent anarchy in LA and defend the ICE operation that has faced so much hostility from the rioters? She asked, “On California, are you prepared to invoke the Insurrection Act?”
Responding first with a joke and then getting serious about why cracking down on the violent protesters in the city is important and will be done, the president told her, “It depends on whether or not there’s an insurrection. No, no, but you have violent people, and we’re not going to let him get away with it.”
A friendly reporter from Breitbart News then chimed in to ask him, “Do you think if Democrats continue to side with illegal aliens over law enforcement, that they’ll ever be able to win a national election again?” President Trump, responding positively and noting that serious reprisals are on the horizon, said, “I love this guy. I think that is a good who you with Breitbart News? Great. It’s a great group. Breitbart, great group. I think that you’re going to see some very strong law and order.”
Then, when another reporter told Trump that people on the left such as Mayor Karen Bass are saying “that this wasn’t a real riot in Los Angeles,” he went nuts and snapped that this was very much a real riot, saying, “Is that what she said? Oh, I think it was a riot. I think it was very bad. It was covered, really, as a riot by almost everybody on campaign.”
The president was then asked if he would deploy troops to end the riot even if he ends up not invoking the Insurrection Act. A female reporter asked, “Even if you’re not planning to invoke that insurrection act, do you still plan to send troops?” Trump told her, “Well, we’re going tohave troops everywhere. We’re not going to let this happen to our country.”

Continuing, he explained, “We’re not going to let our country our country be torn apart like it was under Biden and his auto pen.” Then, addeing to that when asked, “What is the bar for sending Marines?” Trump said, “I mean, if we see danger to our country and to our citizens, we’ll be very, very strong in terms of law and order. It’s about law and order. It we need. We’ll send whatever we need to make sure that it’s law and order.”
Then, after a discussion of the harsh penalties being directed the way of rioters, when noting that Border Czar Tom Homan had said that “California officials could face federal charges if they stand in the way of the deportations,” President Trump stood firmly by that remark and noted that those who “stand in the way of law and order, they will face charges.”
