For context, Pope Francis’ health has been declining for months, with rumors swirling about his condition as he went in and out of the hospital for pneumonia complications. Shortly after the Pontiff met with Vice President JD Vance on Easter Sunday, the Vatican announced his passing.
In any case, the hilarious photo was posted by a prominent conservative influencer on April 26, 2025. He said, “LMAO! They put Biden in the back at the funeral of Pope Francis. Look at how lost he looks 
,” which produced widespread laughter.
Continuing the trend. Paul A. Syzpula, another popular conservative, posted a video of the same event. He joked, “President Trump and First Lady Melania were flanked by the leaders of the world at St. Peter’s Square for the funeral of Pope Francis on Saturday. Joe Biden was there too, but they had him so far back in the crowd that nobody noticed.”
Reacting to the Pope’s abrupt passing, Trump officials posted their condolences on social media. As we reported, Vice President JD Vance said, “I just learned of the passing of Pope Francis. My heart goes out to the millions of Christians all over the world who loved him.”

In his statement, President Donald Trump ordered that all flags be flown at half-mast as a sign of respect for the controversial pope. He proclaimed, “As a mark of respect for the memory of His Holiness Pope Francis, by the authority vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America.”
