Ousted RNC RINO Who Tried Attacking Trump Comes Crawling Back after Woke Media Failure

The former chairwoman of the Republican National Committee (RNC) has come crawling back to re-enter the GOP after she resigned in 2024 and headed to NBC News, which reportedly severed her contract after major backlash from liberal pundits.

For context, NBCUniversal Group Chairman Cesar Conde announced on March 27, 2024, that Ronna McDaniel, former RNC chairwoman, was being fired from NBC just days after her debut on the network. After her firing, McDaniel tried to return to the GOP and was savagely roasted on Truth Social by President Trump himself, who said the firing left her in a “very strange place.”

Announcing that it was cutting ties with McDaniel, Conde reportedly said, “There is no doubt that the last several days have been difficult for the News Group. After listening to the legitimate concerns of many of you, I have decided that Ronna McDaniel will not be an NBC News contributor.” Moreover, Conde said he wanted to “personally apologize” to any of the members of the NBC team who “felt we let them down.”

Moreover, press accounts confirmed that NBC News personality Chuck Todd criticized McDaniel for changing her viewpoints from conservative to liberal, saying that this behavior made her untrustworthy. Welker said, “She wants us to believe that she was speaking for the RNC when the RNC was paying for it. So, she has credibility issues that she still has to deal with.”

Furthermore, after her departure from NBC, the Wall Street Journal reported on May 29, 2025, that McDaniel was slated to lead a new organization called the Michigan Forward Network, which is reportedly funded by the DeVos family and is focused on making Michigan more conservative. McDaniel told the press, “We need to make Michigan reliably red,” adding, “We need to become a state like Ohio.”

In addition, McDaniel said the Michigan Forward Network was “going to be a permanent infrastructure,” going on to say that the organization’s impact was “not going to ramp up and ramp back down, with the recognition that election year is every year now.” In addition, McDaniel said, “It’s conservative principles, and we want it to bring in Trump voters.”

Importantly, President Trump slammed McDaniel on Truth Social on March 26, 2024, following McDaniel’s firing from NBC. The president wrote, “Wow! Ronna McDaniel got fired by Fake News NBC. She only lasted two days, and this after McDaniel went out of her way to say what they wanted to hear.”

Continuing, the president said that McDaniel’s firing “leaves her in a very strange place, it’s called NEVER NEVERLAND, and it’s not a place you want to be.” He added, “These Radical Left Lunatics are CRAZY, and the top people at NBC ARE WEAK. They were BROKEN and EMBARRASSED by LOW RATINGS, HIGHLY OVERPAID, ‘TALENT.’ BRING BACK FREE AND FAIR PRESS – MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN 2024!”
