Speaking in an explosive podcast interview, one of the top minds at DOGE shared an astonishing discovery that revealed the corruption of the US Social Security Administration. That DOGE genius is venture capitalist Antonio Gracias, a longtime partner of Elon Musk, who joined DOGE in the department’s mission to handle wasteful government spending, and he uncovered more fraud hiding underneath the surface than was ever anticipated.
For background, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has been working tirelessly since January to reveal and resolve instances of federal corruption and waste. The department’s efforts have reportedly led to billions of dollars in savings and major overhauls in the leadership structures of federal agencies like USAID.
During an appearance on the All-In podcast, Mr. Gracias explained the shocking findings that resulted from his investigation. Focusing on a program originally created to provide Medicaid access to asylum seekers, Mr. Gracias said, “What happened was this program was designed for people that we want to let in, like the Care Program, which is the Afghans they would be in this number who had jumped out of this wasn’t that this is here because it has legitimate use. It’s the growth. Why did it grow this fast? That’s what we dug into.”
Continuing his explanation of his findings, Mr. Gracias clarified that he found clear examples of this program being abused and inefficiently run. He explained, “What we find here is that a legitimate program was the word I’ll use, abused. So they allowed people that were illegals at the border to come in legally. They were giving people, at times, notices to appear. And what that allows you to do is come in the country, and then you schedule a court date, which is like six years out.”
In the most shocking part of the interview, Mr. Gracias described the process by which asylum seekers were sent Social Security cards automatically due to the broken system. He explained, “And while you’re waiting for your court date, you could fill out an asylum application. Once applications are in, you can file another form, 765, to get work authorization. Once you get that, you get a 766, and we automatically send you a Social Security card in the mail, no interview at all.”
To round out his explanation, Mr. Gracias informed the interviewer about the staggering amount of people who had access to these benefits without going through any formal application process. He said, “We found that every benefit that was being accessed by these people, 1.3 million of them are on Medicaid right now, today. And by the way, it’s just ramping, just starting.”
At the end of the podcast interview excerpt that made its way to X, Mr. Gracias expressed his personal disbelief at the results of his investigation. He also hinted ominously that there may be even more egregious examples of corruption within the Social Security Administration, saying, “If I hadn’t seen in my own eyes, I wouldn’t believe it, and this is the tip of the iceberg.”

Posting about the interview on X, the Amuse account captioned the clip by saying, “Antonio Gracias, a billionaire and major Democrat donor, volunteered his time to find a way to save the Social Security Administration. What he has found is nothing short of a criminal enterprise.”
