In a huge announcement made via social media, namely her official government X account, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem announced that, after having met with President Trump, DHS was moving to recommend and hopefully implement a “full travel ban” on countries that have been flooding America with immigrants who do not positively contribute to the country.
As background, her announcement came shortly after President Trump took to Truth Social over Thanksgiving weekend to announce that America would be “permanently” pausing migration from Third World Countries so that the country could recover from the ravages of mass migration.
Making that announcement, he said, “Even as we have progressed technologically, Immigration Policy has eroded those gains and living conditions for many. I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the U.S. system to fully recover, terminate all of the millions of Biden illegal admissions, including those signed by Sleepy Joe Biden’s Autopen, and remove anyone who is not a net asset to the United States, or is incapable of loving our Country, end all Federal benefits and subsidies to noncitizens of our Country, denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility, and deport any Foreign National who is a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization.”
Secretary Noem then followed that up with a post in which she announced that the countries that pour public charges into America will face travel bans, saying, “I just met with the President. I am recommending a full travel ban on every damn country that’s been flooding our nation with killers, leeches, and entitlement junkies.”
Continuing, Secretary Noem noted that public charges and terrorists are not the sort of people who built America, saying, “Our forefathers built this nation on blood, sweat, and the unyielding love of freedom—not for foreign invaders to slaughter our heroes, suck dry our hard-earned tax dollars, or snatch the benefits owed to AMERICANS. WE DON’T WANT THEM. NOT ONE.”
In another, similarly timed post, the DHS Secretary announced that, in the wake of the awful and tragic terror attack in DC, the Trump Administration would be overhauling migrant vetting procedures to ensure that such attacks never again happen.
Beginning that similarly momentous post, she said, “The Biden Administration let in 100,000 Afghan nationals into our country during Operation Allies Welcome, many of them military-aged men, with zero front-end vetting. Under President Trump, DHS is overhauling the vetting process for aliens.”

Continuing, she described some of the procedures that will be used to more thoroughly vet who is coming into America, saying, “We are requiring the country of origin to cross-reference biometric data and criminal history, expanding our vetting to include social media screening, and directing individuals to check-in every year.”
And, in yet another post on the matter, Secretary Noem said, “Under President Trump, we are putting the American people, our safety and national security FIRST. We are putting an end to idiotic policies that allowed millions of illegal aliens and hundreds of thousands of foreigners into our country unvetted. We are pausing asylum decisions until further notice and DHS is overseeing a full scale, rigorous reexamination of every Green Card for every alien from all 19 high-risk countries of concern.”
