Elon Calls Out Maxine Waters for “Many Crimes” after She Makes Horrible Comments about Melania

In a mic-dropping moment, Tesla CEO and DOGE leader Elon Musk called out Democratic congresswoman Maxine Waters after she went berserk and floated the idea of deporting First Lady Melania Trump during a bizarre anti-DOGE rant.

For context, according to press accounts, Rep. Waters spoke at an anti-DOGE protest on March 23, 2025, spiraling into a tirade about President Trump’s intention to do away with birthright citizenship and accusing First Lady Melania Trump of potentially being born to undocumented immigrants. In response, Elon Musk shot back on Twitter on March 26, 2025, saying that Rep. Waters’ “many crimes” would come to light “at some point.”

During her speech at the March 2025 anti-DOGE rally, Rep. Waters reportedly made statements that implied that First Lady Melania Trump could be deported if birthright citizenship were revoked. She began by telling the crowd, “When [Trump] talks about birthright, and he’s going to undo the fact that the Constitution allows those who are born here, even if the parents are undocumented, they have a right to stay in America.”

Continuing, Rep. Waters said that if President Trump “wants to start looking so closely” to find individuals who were born in America to undocumented immigrant parents, then “maybe he ought to first look at Melania.” She added, “We don’t know whether or not her parents were documented. And maybe we’d better just take a look.”

Furthermore, Fox News provided more footage of Rep. Waters’ tirade, which showed the congresswoman saying, “We don’t care how much money you have, Elon, we don’t give a damn about DOGE, we are going to defend the constitution because we believe in democracy. So many people have fought and sacrificed and died, and Trump comes along with his ignorant — and he don’t even know the Constitution.”

Responding to Rep. Waters’ inflammatory comments, Elon Musk implied that it would not be long before Rep. Waters was exposed as corrupt, saying, “At some point, the many crimes of Maxine Waters will catch up to her.” In response, the X user Gunther Eagleman responded, “She needs to be prosecuted,” and another user chimed in, “She’s already 9000 years old. What’s karma waiting for?”

After Rep. Waters made her incendiary comments, the co-hosts of “Fox & Friends” ripped into the congresswoman in a March 26, 2025, segment, calling her statements about Melania “so stupid” and adding that she was “taking her rhetoric to new heights.” In addition, co-host Lawrence Jones said that Rep. Waters and her supporters were misperceiving the Trump Administration’s agenda as “an anti-immigrant thing instead of an illegal immigration thing.”

Building on Jones’ point, co-host Steve Doocy said that Rep. Waters was referring to “Donald Trump signing that executive order banning birthright citizenship.” He added, “The way [Waters] did it, through the back door, like, I’m gonna hit him, but first I’m gonna hit his wife.'” Ainsley Earhardt chimed in, “I can’t imagine this paints a picture any other than the Democrats in disarray…I don’t know what this says about their future.”
