First Lady Melania Trump went absolutely nuclear on woke TV host Jimmy Kimmel after he horribly “joked” about her being an “expectant widow” in a segment that aired shortly before yet another would-be assassin tried to slay President Donald Trump. The first lady declared the “joke” to be unacceptable and sounded off on Kimmel for the vile sort of rhetoric he is pushing.
Such is what Melania, who was reportedly quite shaken by the assassination attempt, said in a powerful post made on her official X account in the wake of the shooting and the resultant furor over Democrat rhetoric generally, but Kimmel’s “joke” in particular. She declared it to be irresponsible and utterly sickening that he would say such things.
Beginning the powerful post, the First Lady snapped that Kimmel is working to divide America by deepening the political sickness within it. She said, “Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.”
Continuing, Melania argued that Kimmel shouldn’t be able to continue pushing his awful and society-wrecking message into the homes of Americans through the television every evening, saying, “People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate.”
She then slammed him as a “coward” and she hammered ABC too, noting that Kimmel is able to hide behind ABC as he pushes his vile and repugnant message on the country and says horrible things about the Trumps. She said, “A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him.”
She then demanded that ABC take a stand and shut down the awful messaging that Kimmel is pushing, saying, “Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.”

President Trump pushed a similar message in his post on the matter. He began, “Wow, Jimmy Kimmel, who is in no way funny as attested to by his terrible Television Ratings, made a statement on his Show that is really shocking. He showed a fake video of the First Lady, Melania, and our son, Barron, like they were actually sitting in his studio, listening to him speak, which they weren’t, and never would be. He then stated, “Our First Lady, Melania, is here. Look at Melania, so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow.” A day later a lunatic tried entering the ballroom of the White House Correspondents Dinner, loaded up with a shotgun, handgun, and many knives. He was there for a very obvious and sinister reason.”
The president added, “I appreciate that so many people are incensed by Kimmel’s despicable call to violence, and normally would not be responsive to anything that he said but, this is something far beyond the pale. Jimmy Kimmel should be immediately fired by Disney and ABC. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP”
