President Donald Trump sounded off with a vengeance on woke late-night television personality Jimmy Kimmel after Kimmel horribly attacked both him and First Lady Melania Trump, with Kimmel “joking” shortly before the assassination attempt on President Trump that Melania had the “glow” of an “expectant widow”.
For reference, Kimmel’s comments on the matter came shortly before the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in which a gunman showed up and shot an officer, who fortunately survived, before being stopped. The gunman aimed to target President Trump and numerous members of his administration.
President Trump took to Truth Social to sound off on Jimmy Kimmel, the horrible late-night host, and his awful segment, saying, “Wow, Jimmy Kimmel, who is in no way funny as attested to by his terrible Television Ratings, made a statement on his Show that is really shocking.”
Continuing, the president described the segment, which featured fake versions of his wife and his son, saying, “He showed a fake video of the First Lady, Melania, and our son, Barron, like they were actually sitting in his studio, listening to him speak, which they weren’t, and never would be.”
Adding to that, the president described what Kimmel said, repeating the awful and rotten “joke” that the host made shortly before the assassination attempt. Trump wrote, “He then stated, ‘Our First Lady, Melania, is here. Look at Melania, so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow.'”
Trump noted that it was shortly after Kimmel pushed such a horrific message that the gunman attacked the dinner, saying, “A day later a lunatic tried entering the ballroom of the White House Correspondents Dinner, loaded up with a shotgun, handgun, and many knives. He was there for a very obvious and sinister reason.”
The president further wrote that this latest antic of Kimmel’s is utterly “beyond the pale” and must be treated as such, arguing, “I appreciate that so many people are incensed by Kimmel’s despicable call to violence, and normally would not be responsive to anything that he said but, this is something far beyond the pale.”

Concluding, the president called for Kimmel to be fired and to face the proper consequences for his actions, saying, “Jimmy Kimmel should be immediately fired by Disney and ABC. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

In the wake of the shooting, Trump also posted, “What happened last night is exactly the reason that our great Military, Secret Service, Law Enforcement and, for different reasons, every President for the last 150 years, have been DEMANDING that a large, safe, and secure Ballroom be built ON THE GROUNDS OF THE WHITE HOUSE. This event would never have happened with the Militarily Top Secret Ballroom currently under construction at the White House. It cannot be built fast enough!”
He added, “While beautiful, it has every highest level security feature there is plus, there are no rooms sitting on top for unsecured people to pour in, and is inside the gates of the most secure building in the World, The White House. The ridiculous Ballroom lawsuit, brought by a woman walking her dog, who has absolutely No Standing to bring such a suit, must be dropped, immediately. Nothing should be allowed to interfere with with its construction, which is on budget and substantially ahead of schedule!!! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP”
