Appearing for an interview on MS NOW (formerly MSNBC) to discuss the ongoing anti-illegal immigration crackdown in which the Secretary Kristi Noem-led Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is engaging, Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) went berserk and attacked Secretary Noem in what amounted to a ridiculous meltdown.
For reference, that meltdown, in which the angry “Squad” congresswoman claimed that Secretary Noem is a “dangerous cocktail of authority, bigotry, and incompetence”, came on Sunday, January 18, when Rep. Pressley appeared on MS NOW’s “Alex Witt Reports” to discuss Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations across America, particularly in the context of the ongoing operations in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Kicking off her ridiculous and tiresome rant, the Squad congresswoman insisted that ICE is “rogue” and “terrorizing” American communities, a ridiculous assertion given how many American communities are afflicted by problems related to illegal immigration, such as MS-13 or Tren de Aragua gang activity, and of course the Somali migrant fraud scandal. In any case, she began, “what is undeniable is ICE is a rogue agency that is terrorizing our communities.”
Continuing, the woke congresswoman then went berserk about the shooting of Renee Good in what Trump and others in his administration have staunchly defended as a justified use of force in self-defense that came only because, they claim, Good tried to run over the agent with her car.
Regardless, the congresswoman snapped, “It is killing our neighbors. I want to extend my sympathies to, Renee Good’s family, a loving mother and artist, a concern, community member, who was a US citizen and a residential community that was murdered in broad daylight with shots fired at close range into her vehicle.”
Building on the “neighbors” point, Rep. Pressley then insisted, “What is happening now is, you know, neighbors that are saying we are going to send you the humanity of all of our neighbors and defend our neighbors and our community in the face of the rogue and racist actions of ICE.”
That’s when Pressley got to her attacks on Kristi Noem. First, the radical Squad congresswoman smeared the DHS Secretary in awful terms, insisting, “I want to say about Kristi Noem, you know, what a dangerous cocktail of authority, bigotry and incompetence.”

Adding to that, Pressley went on to insult ICE agents and insinuated that she or other Democrats to try and take down the DHS Secretary with an impeachment effort, saying, “She should resign or needs to be impeached. But she is she is a danger. And ICE is a threat and a danger to every person who calls this country home.”
Concluding, Rep. Pressley revealed that she is trying to open up ICE agents to legal attacks for just doing their jobs by yanking away qualified immunity, which generally protects them from personal lawsuits regarding what they do as part of their jobs. She said, “And finally, this is why I’ve introduced the Qualified Immunity Abolition Act. Because these federal officers must be held accountable.”
