WATCH: Woke Senator Goes Berserk Over ICE’s Sanctuary City Crackdown

Appearing on former Biden White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki’s show on MS NOW (formerly MSNBC), far-left Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), who is rumoured to be aiming to run in the Minnesota gubernatorial race now that current Governor Tim Walz has dropped out of the election race due to the fraud scandal, went berserk over the ICE crackdown on Minneapolis.

As background, ICE has been flooding into Minneapolis for multiple reasons. One is that a major fraud scandal involving fraudsters who are primarily of a Somali background has exploded, and ICE and DHS agents are, as a result, cracking down on those connected to the scandal, including by raiding businesses.

The other reason is that one of the ICE agents involved in the crackdown on fraud and other issues was allegedly attacked by a radical leftist protester, who appears to have tried to run him over with her car, and he shot her in what ICE and the Trump Administration say was a clear case of self-defense. In response to the attack and resultant protests, ICE and DHS have flooded Minneapolis with a huge number of agents. In fact, the number of federal agents in Minneapolis now exceeds the number of police officers in Minneapolis.

It was in response to that state of things that Sen. Amy Klobuchar totally freaked out when speaking to Jen Psaki, ridiculously declaring that ICE, in cracking down on illegal immigration and related issues in the notoriously rogue, sanctuary city in such large numbers, “are making our community less safe”.

Continuing, the far-left Senator from Minnesota insisted that it is a bad thing that the number of federal immigration agents in the city outnumber the number of cops, saying, “By the numbers, according to our well-respected Minneapolis Police Chief, Brian O’Hara, there are now more ICE agents in Minnesota than there are police officers combined Minneapolis Police Force and St Paul police force.”

Adding to that in somewhat bizarre fashion, Klobuchar insisted that the fact that a few arrests of those who are not illegal immigrants means that the whole crackdown is wrong and must stop, failing to note, as she did so, that just because someone is here with a passport doesn’t necessarily mean they haven’t overstayed their visa or some other procedural failure that means they are here illegally.

She said, in any case, “So they are outnumbering our own local police officers out on the streets, they have picked up people who are legal, who have passports, who are yelling, ‘I have a passport. I have a passport. Look at my phone. I have a passport.’ And this is just got to stop.” Watch her here:

Skewering Klobuchar for the ridiculous statement in a post on Facebook, conservative political commentator Ryan Fournier wrote, “The Democrats are absolutely losing it tonight because federal immigration agents in Minnesota now OUTNUMBER local police in Minneapolis-St. Paul! ‘They are outnumbering our own local police officers out on the streets!!’ 🔥🔥 Good! If the local leaders won’t secure their streets and stop the fraud, the Feds will. Keep ‘em coming! LAW AND ORDER IS BACK!”
