In a stereotypical woke rant, Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) repeated baseless DNC lies about Americans losing access to vital healthcare under the Trump administration. Democrats have cynically repeated that vulnerable seniors will lose access to Medicaid despite continuous rebuttals from the Trump adminsitraion.
For context, Rep. Rosa DeLauro is a long-serving Democratic Congresswoman from Connecticut, known for her progressive activism since 1991 and her distinctive purple hair. She has a leading role on the House Appropriations Committee and has played a critical role in opposing President Trump.
Starting off the dishonorable woke rant, the irritating Connecticut Democrat stated, “This bill, it really is a fallacy. That is the fallacy, because 67 pages of the 91 in this continuing resolution deal with health care extensions, one way or another, whether they’re for veterans, whether they’re for others, that is what’s in there.”
Still not done melting down, the purple-haired congresswoman noted, “So it’s absolutely germane that what we talk about is how they have slashed Medicaid, the largest cut in history, and 15 million people are going to lose their health care, and how they raise the premiums for co-pays and deductibles.”
Building on her previous tenuous allegation, DeLauro claimed, “And I am happy to share with all of my colleagues, Democrats and Republicans, how much increase that is going to cost to their constituents in their district, and it’s also going to tell them how many people in their state are going to lose that health care coverage that they have. It is in black and white, and it’s there, and the people of their districts and their communities are going to know all about it. They set in motion $536 billion into.”
As we reported, Rosa DeLauro recently made a fool of herself attacking Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. Starting off the interaction, Hegseth stated, “Ma’am, I fully acknowledge the investment this committee has made in shipbuilding. And the challenges our department under the previous administration squandered a lot of that by not investing properly.”
Going on the attack in a typically wild manner, the Connecticut Democrat said, “Please. I don’t I want to. (sic) I want your plan. I’ve had difficulties with the prior administration, and I don’t mind calling him out. What is your plan for the future? Can we get that in writing and on paper, so that we know where you’re going?

Still not done, she continued melting down, saying, “Because we don’t have anything today, we have zip nada, and knowing where you’re going. You could talk percentages, you can talk about whatever you want, but unless this Committee sees dollars and cents and where you’re going and what your plan is, then we may reconsider what you need to do to go forward. Give us the details!”
Watch the clip here:
Clearly annoyed, Hegseth answered, “Congresswoman, we have the details, and we will provide them.” Interrupting the purple-haired woke congresswoman, interrupted, “Let’s have them before we, and my hope is that we could get to it before we go to a markup within a few hours here today.”
