In a hilarious moment from a House Budget Request Hearing, Rep. Rosa DeLauro melted down on Secretaty of Defence Pete Hegseth. During the clip, the blue-haired Democrat lost her mind of Hegseth’s plan to modernize the Navy in an embarrassing meltdown.

For context, Rep. Rosa DeLauro is a long-serving Democratic Congresswoman from Connecticut who is infamous for her hardcore progressive activism since 1991 and distinctive purple hair. She has a leading role on the House Appropriations Committee and has played a critical role in opposing President Trump.

Security, ma’am, I fully acknowledge the investment this committee has made in ship building, the challenges our department under the previous administration squandered a lot of that by

Reudley interrupting, the deranged DEmocrat yelled, “Please. I don’t I want to. (sic) I want your plan. I’ve had difficulties with the prior administration, and I don’t mind calling him out. What is your plan for the future? Can we get that in writing and on paper, so that we know where you’re going?

Continuing her absurd rant, Rep. Rosa DeLauro whined, “Because we don’t have anything today, we have zip nada, and knowing where you’re going. You could talk percentages, you can talk about whatever you want, but unless this Committee sees dollars and cents and where you’re going and what your plan is, then we may reconsider what you need to do to go forward. Give us the details!”

Calmylu responding, Hegseth replied, “Congresswoman, we have the details, and we will provide them.” Enraged by his simple answer, the Demorcat snapped, “Let’s have them before we and my hope is that we could get to it before we go to a markup within a few hours here today.”

This is far from DeLauro’s only embarrassing moment. As we reported, she was instantly fact-checked by conservatives reacting to her woke rant, blaming Health and Human Services (HHS) secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for the Flint, Michigan water crisis. In her over-the-top rant, DeLauro incorrectly stated that over 9 million children were the victims of lead poisoning in the city, when the whole state has less than 10 million citizens total.

Rep. DeLauro went on a disgraceful rant in which she bizarrely blamed RKF for this crisis. She stated, “Is there a special phone number if I want to say tobacco prevention, lead poisoning. Nine million children were lead poisoned in Flint, Michigan. Nine million kids okay?”

Reacting to the Democrats’ incorrect claim, a user posted the video of her screed to X on May 14, 2025. In the caption, the account added, “FACT CHECK: Dem Rep. Rosa DeLauro tried using fake news to hit RFK Jr. during a fiery Hill hearing — falsely claiming 9 million kids were poisoned in Flint. One problem, though? The city’s population is only 100,000.”

    Watch the clip here:

Objecting to the premise of her statement, one user noted, “And how the f**k is flint drinking water RFKs fault. He just got in charge. This has been a problem for years. Fuck these a**hole democrats. They make a problem and then blame republicans. Dems have controlled that area for the last 50 years. GFY weirdo.”
