WATCH: Trump Announces the National Guard Could be Sent to Another Notoriously Woke City as Well

In addition to flooding DC with not just hundreds of federal agents but also a bevy of National Guard troopers in an attempt to crack down on crime in the federal district, and threatening to do the same to the notoriously far-left and violent city of Chicago, President Donald Trump has announced that he is considering sending the National Guard to Portland as well.

For reference, President Trump’s comments on sending the National Guard to Portland come amidst a major series of protests targeting ICE in the city, with leftist activist groups doing everything from burning flags while clashing with law enforcement to threatening ICE agents with a guillotine in a clear attempt to intimidate them.

Meanwhile, instead of aiding ICE in its battle with various leftist groups, the Mayor of Portland, Keith Wilson, a far-left Democrat, declared that local police would continue turning their backs on ICE. He said, “We will not engage with the federal immigration enforcement that goes on. That is our sanctuary city goals; that is what the governor’s goals are. So you can rest assured we won’t be engaging with or working with ICE in any circumstances.”

So, President Trump indicated that a crackdown is needed and the National Guard will be deployed in force to make it happen. Beginning his comments on the matter, he said, “But Portland is unbelievable…I’m going to look at it now, because I’ve, I didn’t know that was still going on. This has been going on for years.”

Continuing, he indicated that despite the violence and generally terrible situation, the feds could made it all stop with ease by deploying troops, saying, “So we’ll we’ll be able to stop that very easily. We’ll be able to stop, but you know, that was not on my list Portland, but when I watched television last night, this has been going on, you wouldn’t be standing if you were the mayor. You would be can you imagine what they’re doing? They’re walking and throwing smoke bombs in the store.”

Adding to that, he attacked the rioters as paid terrorists and agitators, saying, “These are paid terrorists. Okay, these are paid agitators. These are professional I watched that last night. I’m very good at this stuff. These are paid agitators. They get paid money by radical left groups, not radical right groups, radical left groups, and they get paid a lot of money.”

Explaining that the signs they wave show what’s really going on, the president said, “And you see it with the signs. You know, they all have perfect signs that are printed. They look as good as that sign. Those signs are made in basements. They’re made at professional printing office, and they cost a lot of money. These are paid agitators, and they’re very dangerous for our country.”

Then, getting to his comments about using the National Guard to crack down on them and save Portland, he said, “And when we go there, if we go to Portland, we’re going to wipe them out. They’re going to be gone, and they’re going to be gone. They won’t even stand the fight. They will not stay there. They ruin. They’ve ruined that city. I have people that used to live in Portland. They’ve left. Most of them have left, but what they’ve done to that place is just, it’s like, it’s like living in hell.”
