In a video that showcases the ongoing downfall of the Democratic Party, a young former Democrat explained why she left her old party, describing herself as previously “suffering from TDS” before becoming a Republican and experiencing patriotism and hope for the first time in years in an inspiring account that would leave Chuck Schumer shaking in his boots.
For background, a video shared on social media by actress and “former Democrat turned sane person” Natalie Jean Beisner showcases the massive positive changes that can come from leaving the Democratic Party. In the video, Beisner recounts how she had “walked away” from the left and realized that her former party has no ground to stand on except its opposition to Republicans.
In her video, Beisner explained that she was “so relieved” to no longer be a Democrat, adding, “I am breathing a sigh of relief this morning that I made it out in time to enjoy the second Trump go-round, because I missed the first one.” Beisner then said that she “woke up and walked away” from the Democratic Party in summer 2020.
Continuing, Natalie explained that as a resident of Southern California, she had experienced intensive lockdowns during the pandemic era and “had prices continue to skyrocket” under the Biden administration. She added, “So, now it finally feels like I’m awake. I’m paying attention. I’m on the right side of history. I’m not a Democrat, and also, we’re winning, and I know it’s not going to last forever.”
Moreover, Beisner said that when she left her former party, “It was the first time in my adult life that I felt patriotism and a love for my country.” She continued, “And I, like, went on this journey of discovering our country’s history and our country’s founding and our country’s government, and, like, with a renewed sense of patriotism.”
Building on her point, Natalie declared that it was “really nice to be a patriot, to feel that patriotism, and for the first time in five years, to not feel like our country is in dire straits, to actually feel hope for this country, that the greatest nation in the world might actually make it we might actually be okay.” She added, “That is a really good feeling.”
In addition, Beisner expressed hope for friends and family members who are “still blind, ” saying that the behavior of prominent Democrats may continue to turn others away from the party. She went on, “And you know, as a former Democrat, I just wonder, what is the modern-day Democrat Party? What does it stand for?” She concluded, “They stand for nothing.”

After Beisner’s video was reposted online by conservative commentator Kelley (Patriotmom717), commenters were overjoyed. The X user Janice Watkins wrote, “So very well said!!! Wow!
