The long-running Republican effort to turn the blue state of Pennsylvania red is heating up, with conservative influencer Scott Presler expressing his excitement online by saying “HOLY COW” and “IT’S HAPPENING” as he revealed that new voter registration data for the state showed that more Democrats have switched over to being Republican than vice versa.

For background, on July 21, 2025, conservative activist and influencer Scott Presler announced online that Republicans were on the verge of turning Pennsylvania red, explaining in a thread on X that based on new voter registration data, the GOP is only 67,635 “active voters” away from being the state’s majority.

Writing on X on July 21, Scott exclaimed, “HOLY COW. HOLY COW. IT’S HAPPENING.” He elaborated, “We got new voter registration data for Pennsylvania. More Democrats switched to Republican than vice versa.” He clarified that more Democrats “switched to other” than Republicans as well.

Continuing, Presler said that “something very special is coming,” adding in a follow-up comment, “Republicans are 67,635 *active* voters away from flipping Pennsylvania.” He went on to explain that the current numbers are the lowest Democratic voter registration advantage “in modern history.” In response, X user Rhiannon wrote, “Thank You so much Scott for not abandoning ship on us! Appreciate you and all of your team!”

Moreover, in an inspiring post from July 17, Presler shared an appearance on Fox Business’s “The Bottom Line” in which he explained that Erie County, Pennsylvania, was just 6,053 voters away from turning red. He told Fox, “And I’m not just focused on PA; we are here to elect Jack Ciatterelli as the next governor of the Garden State of New Jersey.”

Continuing in the comments section, Presler addressed Pennsylvania residents directly, saying, “If you live in Pennsylvania. I ask you to change your party affiliation to Republican. We are 74,264 voters away from flipping PA.” He added, “When we flip PA, $ will POUR into Pennsylvania.” In response, the X user VeloSnob, referring to Scott’s X handle, “ThePersistence,” wrote, “Now I understand what “The Persistence” really means. You never give up….”

Furthermore, on Jul 22, 2025, Presler posted from the York County Fair in York, Pennsylvania, saying, “Registered another voter!” He added, “Just used some persuasion & cajoling to switch ANOTHER independent to Republican.” Presler continued, “We are doing so well that the democrats sent over a spy to each lunch across from our table.” A commenter responded, “You just keep killing it for conservatives. This is wonderful.”

Presler went on to post multiple photos from his time at the York County Fair, depicting him shaking hands with residents and registering them to vote Republican. Referring to his non-profit, Early Vote Action, he wrote, “Shaking every hand & earning every vote. While I’m the Founder of @EarlyVoteAction, I join my team out in the field every single day.” He added, “Work, work, work.”
