President Trump recently hosted a screening of “Sound of Freedom,” the movie that has crossed the $100 million mark in revenue and is well-liked by audiences for using the story of Tim Ballard to expose the massive scope of the reprehensible child trafficking industry.
During the screening, which was attended by Tim Ballard and Jim Cavaziel and Trump political allies like Steve Bannon and Kari Lake, Trump praised the movie and its message. Speaking about it to Cavaziel, he said: “Thank you all very much. It was incredible. Jim, that was unbelievable. When you made this the hottest movie anywhere in the world, so I think maybe becoming the president of Mexico by comparison. Thank you all. That was unbelievable acting and Jim, what a job you did.”
Continuing after shaking some hands, Trump said, speaking to both the audience and Cavaziel, “Well, I hope you enjoyed it. It’s something that I’m not sure if you’re supposed to enjoy or learn. It’s a combination. But it’s, that was a great movie. And I now understand why it’s doing so well. It’s setting records by the way, it’s speeding. The biggest movies out there have some of the big summer blockbusters, and this does knock the the socks off of them. So that’s pretty good. I’d love to have your potential, like potential. Anybody want to make a movie? Because I think Jim maybe will be available.”
He kept praising Cavaziel and the movie, along with addressing the audience and commenting on the powerful message of the film, saying, “But maybe not so long, It is an incredible thing that two movies and you’ve done others, but two movies, two of the biggest, I guess the two biggest independents ever done. It was an honor getting to know you. You know I need to do a podcast for somebody. Who is that somebody is that you Tim? Well, that’s the least they could do. And I look forward to doing it. So I hope everybody had a fantastic time. I did. It’s an incredible inspiration. And you guys have something very special. Thank you very much. Thank you for being here. Come back any time. Thank you very much.”

Commenting on Posobiec’s video, one commenter noted that the film seemed to have really impacted President Trump, saying, “You can hear in his voice that he was genuinely impacted by the movie. That’s what makes him different.”
Others said things like “One of the many, many reasons we love this man. He’s not perfect but he really cares” and “Let’s go! Best movie of 2023. This was the only time I’ve been back in a theatre in over 15 years. Great job Gentlemen. Trump 2024.”
Predictably, the leftist media went berserk over Trump’s drawing attention to the film. The Guardian, for example, in an article titled “Trump hosts screening of Sound of Freedom, a hit with QAnon devotees,” said, “Sound of Freedom’s religious overtones have struck a chord with evangelicals. At one point Caviezel – who previously played Jesus Christ in Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ – is asked about his motivations. He replies: ‘God’s children are not for sale.’ The screenplay never directly references QAnon, a baseless conspiracy theory that asserts Democrats are a cabal of Satan worshippers who traffic children for sex. But Caviezel spoke at a QAnon convention in 2021 and, while promoting the film on Bannon’s podcast, remarked that “there is a big storm coming” – a QAnon trope.”
