President Donald Trump got into a heated exchange with MS NOW reporter Jake Traylor during a press conference in the Oval Office after he asked the president about the taxpayer-funded program to provide compensation to individuals who were prosecuted by liberals who used the justice system as a form of political punishment for those who supported him.
After Traylor asked the question, President Trump responded, “Who are you with?” Traylor replied, “I’m with MS NOW, sir.” And that answer proved to be one of the biggest mistakes of Traylor’s life as the president delivered a burn of epic proportions to both the reporter and the network he works for. “MS NOW? What a terrible show — they have the worst people on that channel,” Trump’s rebuff began.
Another reporter attempted to ask Trump a question, but he interrupted him to continue cutting down Traylor and MS NOW. “MS NOW — that’s the failed MSDNC, right? They failed, they failed, so they gave it a new name. You know why? Because nobody watched it.” Later in the press conference, Traylor attempted to ask another question. Things got even worse for him.
“You’re fake news. Don’t ever talk again. You’re fake news. One of the worst in the business. Fortunately, nobody watches you,” the president said. Trump was also asked for his take on the immigration crisis unfolding in Spain after the country’s leadership decided to open the nation’s borders, prompting a flood of individuals, the majority of them Muslims, to essentially invade it.
“Immigration is an incredible problem for Europe. You’re allowing people in that, in many cases, are not going to help you. I’m going to be nice. They’re not going to help you. And the people that are there, people from your country, people from other countries that have been there for a long time and did a great job, beautiful place,” President Trump told reporters.
“Look, I love it. You know, my parents both came from Europe indirectly, so a German Scot, and you know, it’s like one of those things. It’s very sad when I see what’s happening to Europe. It’s very sad to me, but they have a problem with immigration,” he added.

The comment section on a video clip of the president’s comments on X was spicy as usual. “Why are propaganda outfits like CNN and MSDNC even allowed in? Plenty of other legitimate news sources that don’t get an Oval Office gig,” one user said. “LOL! You people responding are more insulted than most. For what? This aged Trump is no different in his answers now than he was 40 years ago. He just has the Nation listening and tells truth, no candy,” another individual commented about the president’s dressing down of Traylor.
Speaking to President Trump’s comments concerning Spain and immigration, a user on Facebook wisely stated, “Border security should be a top priority for any administration to ensure national security.” Another individual quipped, “It’s almost like, letting random people into your country is a bad thing.” Someone else wrote, “Europe’s immigration crisis is being ignored for far too long. When borders and reception systems are overwhelmed, governments need serious action, not excuses or empty promises.”
