Fox News “The Five” recently exploded during a heated exchange between co-hosts Jessica Tarlov and Judge Jeanine Pirro regarding former President Donald Trump. “The Five” is known for the intense, argumentative shouting matches between the co-hosts, often centered around the takes of Tarlov, the dissenting liberal voice on the panel.
The recent spat centered around remarks from former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), leading Dana Perino to question whether Vice President Kamala Harris would refer to Donald Trump as “selfish” during the highly anticipated debate. Tarlov decisively chimed in, “For sure. Because Trump is selfish.” Perino, who clearly took issue with the comment, fired back.
“Why would you say that?” Perino asked. Greg Gutfeld, who never shies away from criticizing Tarlov’s positions, jumped in, “He just got shot, running for president! Boy, that’s selfish! He almost died for this job!” However, Tarlov maintained, “If you look at all of what’s coming out of these court cases and the evidence, he’s stiffed everyone from contractors, he’s cheated on everyone that he’s been married to, he demeans people, he can’t even stop demeaning someone he’s been found liable of sexually assaulting.”
Tarlov further tried to argue how Trump is only looking out for major donors and large industries, who apparently look to him for tax cuts. “He’s been in… donor meetings with, for big oil saying I’m gonna make it right for you. Rich people, you need me for tax breaks. It’s all about the self with Donald Trump and he preys upon people who believe this toxicity,” she said.
Drawing on derogatory comments from Pelosi, who claimed Republicans were “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, you name it,” Tarlov suggested there were “factual realities” to such negative claims about Trump supporters.
“The point is, there is a discomfort with Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton putting out factual realities…There’s no way that Donald Trump would be campaigning, calling Kamala Harris ‘Kamabla,’ unless there were in his party that he thought that would appeal to. Or J.D. Vance and this Haitian immigrant story, that he’s promoting this complete false lie that Haitian, legal migrants, are eating-” she said before being cut off by Jeanine Pirro.
Pirro asserted, “You hate them personally and the Democrats hate Republicans! As soon as he got elected, Republicans were unfriended by all the Democrats, they wouldn’t speak to us anymore.” She added, “The Democrats are the party of hate!” She further that Democrats have continually lied about Trump, who is one of the most “generous” people.

Judge Jeanine continued, “The Democrats are the party that said, ‘He’s a Putin asset, he’s a Russian puppet.’ The Democrats are the ones who signed affidavits and lied to a court so that they could spy on a President of the United States. The Democrats are the ones who said that we’re destroying democracy. Donald Trump is one of the most generous people you’ll ever meet. He does all kinds of things that people have no idea about. And by the way, if he were selfish, he’d take his money and tell all of us to go ‘F’ ourselves based upon the way this country has treated him. This guy got shot! Don’t tell me he’s selfish!”
