Posting a powerful and personal statement on X in the wake of the assassination of Turning Point USA founder and close Trump ally Charlie Kirk, actor and comedian Jamie Kennedy sounded off on the thousands upon thousands of leftists who have horrified the country by celebrating Kirk’s cold-blooded murder.
As background, many thousands of leftists, from high-profile political leaders to low-ranking teachers, baristas, and nurses, with every position in between, were outed online as celebrating Kirk’s assassination in the days following his death, with many of them fired by their horrified employers for what they said.
Their commentary infuriated many conservatives and moderates, with Mr. Kennedy summing up the opinions of many when he released his statement saying that the celebratory response from the left has made it “so easy to see who is good and who is evil,” and that those who are celebrating the murder were raised by parents who “failed miserably.”
In his statement, which was released on X in the early evening of Sunday, September 14, Kennedy began by saying that his rage and other emotions have gotten only stronger in the days following Kirk’s assassination, writing, “It’s been 4 days since the public execution of Charlie Kirk and my feelings have not subsided, they have only gotten more intense.”
Continuing, Kennedy explained that in addition to being horrible all by itself, Kirk’s murder exposed all the awful people who live amongst us and are celebrating pure evil. He began that point by saying, “The extreme sadness, the rage, the sick gutted emptyness…. then the realization comes, … the realization of what his death has exposed.”
He further explained, on that same point, that what has happened thanks to the murder of Kirk is the crystal-clear exposition of good and evil in America. He said, “Never in the history of MY life, has it been so easy to see who is GOOD and who is EVIL. It’s given me EXTREME clarity. There is no grey anymore.”
Concluding, he wrote that those celebrating are vile and their parents are failures, saying, “To all the people dancing on the corpse of a man, who was publicly slaughtered in front of his family, for the whole world to see, just know that we see you….VIVIDLY, and you are VILE. Whoever raised you FAILED MISERABLY. #WeAreCharlieKirk #RestinPeaceCharlie”

Mr. Kennedy’s comments on the vile left came in the second statement he issued. The first such statement came on the 12th of September, with the actor and comedian writing, in that original statement, “The last 48 hrs I have been numb. Really haven’t been able to do much of anything. ‘I have never felt so sad and so angry for a person that I never even met.’ This is a quote more than a few people have texted me.”
Continuing, he explained that he has been left distraught by the murder and horrified by the justifications of it, saying, “And I feel EXACTLY the same way. It has really affected me. What we all saw, when we all opened our phone was absolute brutal savagery. Trying to process it is useless. I’ve heard countless cold hearts say so dismissively ‘Oh you live by the sword, you die by the sword.’ Really? Really. Well let me remind you that his ‘sword that you say he wielded…. it was his TONGUE. He encouraged TALKING not VIOLENCE.”
Concluding that statement, he described the murder as the worst sort of evil and said he’s praying for Charlie’s family, writing, “This was an act of pure soulless evil. My heart and prayers go out to Charlie’s parents, his wife, his children and his whole family. May God protect your soul Charlie and may you rest in peace. #Ripcharlie”
