Infamous RINO Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) defended his failure to have interim U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Alina Habba confirmed, pointing to clerical issues, which many critics saw as a feeble excuse for his unwillingness to support the president.
For context, Habba has faced an uphill confirmation battle, and currently, a woke judge has declared she is acting in her role illegitimately. While the legal battle still rages, Habba has taken her opponents, on both sides of the aisle, to task in a series of epic rebukes.
In any case, the infamous RINO took to X, formerly Twitter, to blame paperwork for the stalled confirmation. He alleged, “Habba was withdrawn as the President’s nominee for New Jersey U.S. Atty on July 24 &the Judic cmte never received any of the paperwork needed for the Senate to vet her nomination.”
This tweet provoked a massive negative interaction on X, where many conservatives were enraged with the spineless RINO. One such post, which incldued a comical gif of a rhino, stated, “YOU ARE A SPINELESS RINO. RETIRE!!!”
Others were similarly critical, such as one post which noted, “Habba was withdrawn because her nomination time lapsed, because the senate refused to act. Pass the nominees!” Building on this point, another conservative declared, “You’re so disingenuous- her nomination only had to be withdrawn because the Senate, where you are a senior ranking member, purposefully dragged its feet so that her nomination would expire. This was done on purpose & no doubt with your assent. Stop trying to deflect your role!”
As we reported, Habba has blasted her opponents in the Senate in a series of comments. For example, she noted, “The president was rightfully voted in by a majority of Americans, and he is entitled to pick his U.S. attorneys, his Department of Justice officials, his judges, so that we can continue the agenda that the American public voted for, which is to get rid of crime.”
Continuing her comments, the former Trump lawyer noted, “In the state of New Jersey in June alone, we arrested over 300 criminals, illegals, rapists. What is so bad about that work? The truth is, it has nothing to do with the work that we’re doing. It has nothing to do with the crime that we’re stopping. It has to do with trying to prevent President Trump from continuing his agenda, and it has to stop.”

Continuing her denunciation and addressing Grassley by name, she stated, “So I would say to Senator Tillis and Senator Grassley, you are becoming part of the issue. You are becoming part of the antithesis of what we fought for four years, the same reason Tish James just got overturned in the appellate division, because it was a hoax, and it was misused and abusive power and we cannot allow and promote that kind of behavior. It is not just about me, it is about people across the country, US attorneys across the country that just want to do right by Americans that voted for President Trump.”
