Things got absolutely wild at a Mayor Karen Bass event in Los Angeles when she was approached and called out by an irate resident who called her out for her many governmental failures, not least of which is the disastrously bad homelessness situation in LA and the massive amount of city funding spent on dealing with it, to no good effect.
As background, Mayor Bass is currently facing a stiff primary challenge from Spencer Pratt, who is running on handling the massive disaster that has been her response to homelessness, vagrancy, and the Pacific Palisades fire that wiped out thousands of homes and from which the city has still not rebuilt.
But it was the homelessness issue that came up as she appeared for a public event and was hammered by a heckler, who approached her and yelled, “An ambassador here to talk about homelessness inside safe. We have spent how much, Karen? How much?”
Continuing, the heckler noted the obscene amount of money that has been spent on doing absolutely nothing of note that has been good for the city, given the massive nature of its homelessness problem, saying, “$400 million to house what, 1500 people permanently? You are a failure, an absolute failure.”
Building on that, and pointing to the absurdity of doing media event puffery when the initiatives on which she has embarked have been such failures, he said, “And you come here for your little media event, you have failed the city of LA, Karen. We are spending hundreds of 1000s per person in inside safe. Half of them end up back out on the street!”
Still not done, he then pointed to how disgusting the city of Los Angeles is thanks to the sorts of vagrancy she allows, and the city street sanitation budget she cut, presumably to instead fund some ridiculous and woke initiative. He said, “The city is filthy. You’ve cut funding for everything. You’ve cut funding for street services, for street lighting, for sanitation.”
Then, as the guards approached and tried to move him away, he snapped, “Don’t touch me. Please don’t touch me. You could be nice. I don’t care about, I don’t care about your media, though the people of LA have real questions. I let you go talk. You guys don’t want to have your little rally for Karen Bass.”

Concluding, he said that he is done pretending to be polite as the woke, ridiculous mayor drives the city into the ground with her obscene and absurd policies, saying, “I don’t give a damn about Karen Bass, she has lied to the voters, and she’s been an absolute failure, and everybody just sits around just pretending.”

Later on, as Bass started trying to talk, he yelled, “It’s higher now than when you entered office. It’s higher right now than when you entered office!” He added, “Karen, you deserve no credit. You’re taking credit for their work, Karen. Karen, you’re taking credit for their work. You are so shameful.”
