After news broke this week that Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady had finalized his divorce with supermodel Gisele Bundchen, former teammate Antonio Brown trolled the future Hall of Famer with some pretty aggressive imagery.
Brown, who had once been invited to stay in Brady’s home during his brief stint with Tampa, returned the favor by posting a video clip showing him intimately embracing Brady’s now-former wife and announcing he’d be selling shirts with the image, with proceeds going to fatherless children.
Watch as Brown reminds Tom Brady of that hug and smile:

And here is the shirt now going for $50.

There is trolling like what Alex Stein does, which goes after deserving targets, and then there is this kind of trolling, which has the feel of crossing that imaginary line. It begs the obvious question: What did Brady do to deserve this? As of now, there is no solid answer and it feels like an unnecessary cheap shot to go after a man when he’s already down.
Comments on both videos were nearly unanimous in their disgust with Brown. Some reminded him of his own out-of-wedlock children, while others simply called him out of his indecency. Indeed, it’s a classless move aimed not at humor but undeserved mockery and contempt.
Brown is not known for being decent and thoughtful, though. He famously walked off the field, shirtless, in the middle of a game early this year. That bizarre moment can be seen below.

Some internet rumors suggest Brown was upset at Brady for not throwing him the ball and allowing him to hit a bonus. That seems par for the course from an ego standpoint, but it’s not as if Brown needed the money. Of course, Brown claimed he was being pressured to play despite an ankle injury. The whole situation was so strange that it ultimately boils down to Brown being a massive narcissistic headcase.
Brady released a statement confirming that the much-discussed proceedings had been concluded:
“In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage,” Brady wrote on Instagram. “We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.”
“We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way,” he continued. “We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve. We arrived at this decision to end our marriage after much consideration.”
“Doing so is, of course, painful and difficult, like it is for many people who go through the same thing every day around the world,” Brady wrote. “However we wish only the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written.
“And we kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate what is to come in the days and weeks ahead. Thank you.”
