President Donald Trump had a very funny reaction to what it is like inside a Tesla vehicle, as opposed to a regular car, when he bought and received one on Tuesday, March 11, as a way of supporting Tesla owner Elon Musk as he battles the left, which has taken to boycotting, vandalizing, and even destroying Tesla vehicles as a way of fighting him.
For reference, that’s not all Trump did to help Elon fight back against the ongoing campaign of leftist terror against Tesla. He also, as he announced while checking out his new vehicle and its internal computers, said that he would be designating the ongoing leftist attacks against Tesla vehicles as acts of terrorism.
Making that pronouncement on how he will treat attacks on the Department of Government Efficiency head’s dealerships, Trump said that it would henceforth be treated as domestic terrorism and those who committed the crimes would be caught by and face the full force of the government. He said, “I will label attacks on Tesla dealerships as domestic terrorism…. We already know who some of them are, we are going to catch them.”
In any case, by far the funniest moment of the interaction came when Mr. Musk had a number of Tesla sedans brought to and dropped off on the White House driveway, and President Trump then poked around and inspected the cars while the cameras rolled, discussing how Teslas are some of the only cars left that are fully made in America.
Then, while checking out a beautiful, red Tesla Model S, the president joked about the car itself and President Biden. Mocking the former president’s elderly and frail nature, Trump said, “You think Biden could get into that car? I don’t think so.” He then added, once in the car, ” Wow… Everything’s a computer.” Watch him here:

Mr. Musk, for his part, announced during the meeting that Trump’s policies have made it so that he is able to double Tesla production in the United States within just a few years, saying, “As a function of the great policies of President Trump and his administration, and as an act of faith in America, Tesla is going to DOUBLE vehicle output in the United States within the next two years…” Watch Mr. Musk here:
Posting on Truth Social, President Trump described why he would be getting a Tesla vehicle he doesn’t need, saying that they are great and Elon is under attack. He wrote, “Number one, it’s a great product—as good as it gets—and number two, because Elon has devoted his energy and his life to doing this and I think he has been treated very unfairly…”
He also wrote, in another post, “To Republicans, Conservatives, and all great Americans, Elon Musk is “putting it on the line” in order to help our Nation, and he is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! But the Radical Left Lunatics, as they often do, are trying to illegally and collusively boycott Tesla, one of the World’s great automakers, and Elon’s “baby,” in order to attack and do harm to Elon, and everything he stands for.”
He continued, “They tried to do it to me at the 2024 Presidential Ballot Box, but how did that work out? In any event, I’m going to buy a brand new Tesla tomorrow morning as a show of confidence and support for Elon Musk, a truly great American. Why should he be punished for putting his tremendous skills to work in order to help MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN???”
