“Would Send Shockwaves”: MAGA Develops Plan to Ram through the SAVE America Act, Cow the RINO Senate Into Line by Making Big Move against Incumbent RINO

Republican strategist and grassroots organizer Scott Pressler took to social media platform X where he laid out a plan for MAGA conservatives to scare Republican In Name Only (RINO) senators into compliance with President Donald Trump’s America First agenda, including the SAVE America Act, and it’s one that is already showing success in states like Indiana.

Pressler stated in his post, “If you want to scare the heck — peacefully — out of every other sitting United States Senator, then help defeat John Cornyn on May 26th. Incumbent senators just don’t lose primaries — it’s very rare. Defeating Cornyn would send shockwaves across the country.” In a follow-up post on the thread Pressler shared that early voting in the run-off is set for May 18-22, with election day falling on May 26.

Illegal immigration is not only one of the top priorities of the Trump administration, it’s also a big one for voters as well. Under the former Biden administration, the borders were essentially left wide open and little action was taken to prevent individuals from entering the country illegally. Nor was any action taken to deal with those who crossed over, allowing them to spread across the nation.

This compromised the safety of many Americans, especially those in bigger cities close to the border. President Trump, who took office in January 2025, immediately began a push to deport criminal illegal aliens from the United States, which has been met with constant push back from Democrats who many conservatives say feel threatened by the loss of potential voters to help keep them in power.

And that is why so many conservatives want to see the SAVE America Act passed into law by Congress, as it provides protections for election integrity by implementing new regulations that would require individuals looking to register to vote to provide valid identification proving citizenship. It would also require voters to produce proper identification before casting ballots at the polls.

The act also brings mail-in ballots to an end for all Americans except for those that suffer from an illness, disability, military, or are traveling. While a press release from the White House providing information about the act states that no American should be against such measures to protect election integrity, there are plenty of Republicans who are actively working to block it.

Pressler’s strategy of booting Cornyn from his office and voting in a more MAGA-oriented candidate like Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, is one that he and other conservatives believe will send a message for others to get on board with the passage of the bill or face the wrath of voters when they are up for re-election.

The strategy is already seeing some success in the state of Indiana, where a number of Republicans at the state level decided to vote against President Trump’s redistricting efforts that would help congressional Republicans hold on to control of the House and Senate. Trump endorsed a number of MAGA candidates against their incumbents and the majority of them defeated them in the primary.
