Woke TV Personality Has Angry Meltdown on His Own Show after Trump’s White House Totally Demolishes Him Online

Television producer Chuck Lorre used one of his own CBS programs to strike back after the Trump White House leveled a brutal response to his profanity-laced attack on the president. The 73-year-old sitcom creator turned the closing credits of “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage” into a vehicle for his latest political message. His sarcastic statement followed an awards-show speech in which he insulted President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and members of the administration. The White House answered by suggesting Lorre seek psychiatric help for “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

The dispute began at Project Angel Food’s Angel Awards in Los Angeles on September 26, where Lorre accepted the organization’s Founders Angel Award. Lorre is best known for creating or co-creating hit television programs including “Two and a Half Men,” “The Big Bang Theory,” “Mom,” and “Young Sheldon.” Instead of keeping his acceptance remarks focused on the charity, Lorre used the occasion to unload on Trump and deliver several personal attacks.

“Sure, I’d love to stand here and talk about my deep yearning for a more compassionate government, one that prioritizes the health and welfare of its citizens,” Lorre said. He then declared that his profession required him to discuss “that bloated orange piece of s–t in the White House.” Lorre also said he awakens each morning and turns on CNN to see whether Trump “had a heart attack while straining to take a dump.”

Lorre’s performance moved from Trump to other members of the president’s family and administration. As The Daily Beast reported, he described Melania Trump as “surgically enhanced” and “coldhearted” while claiming she “clearly hates her husband.” He also attacked Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and made a lurid and unsubstantiated accusation connecting Trump to Jeffrey Epstein.

The producer also criticized Democrats during the tirade, urging the Democratic National Committee to abandon what he called “the suicidal insanity of the far-left woke culture.” Lorre asked the party to pursue “the common-sense middle ground that emanates from the hardworking, blue-collar heart and soul of America.” He closed with a version of the Serenity Prayer that referred to “all the stupid people in this country” before repeating his accusations against Trump.

White House spokesperson Davis Ingle responded with a concise diagnosis. “Chuck Lorre should immediately seek psychiatric help to treat his severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has completely rotted his peanut-sized brain,” Ingle told Fox News Digital. Lorre subsequently devoted vanity card No. 789, aired after the Season 3 premiere of “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage,” to the administration’s response.

“A spokesperson for the White House recently announced that I need psychiatric help,” Lorre wrote. “I don’t disagree. I’m not a big fan of mood-altering drugs or electroshock therapy, you know, ‘Cuckoo’s Nest’ stuff, but I would be up for a chat with a trained professional who gently encourages me to seek out childhood experiences that negatively impact my thinking and behavior.”

Lorre suggested that childhood atomic bomb drills could be responsible for his behavior, writing that he hid under his desk “to avoid being cut to ribbons from the classroom windows imploding.” He proposed examining whether environmental toxins had contributed to his “‘derangement,’” adding, “Can’t ignore all those mesothelioma commercials.” Lorre closed the card with another sarcastic swipe: “Regardless of how we proceed, I do appreciate this very public concern for my mental health. It’s comforting to know my government is looking out for me.”

The televised stunt drew a sharp response from conservative media watchdog NewsBusters. Contributing writer Dawn Slusher criticized Lorre for offering no apology after joking about the president’s death and using a charity event for personal political attacks. “An apology would have been a lot classier and a more acceptable way of handling the hornet’s nest he stirred at an event that should have been unifying,” Slusher wrote, adding, “Also, how someone who writes such funny sitcoms can be so unfunny in real life is a bit confusing.”
