In a thoroughly embarrassing display of theatrics, Allen D. Rogers of Florida was arrested by Capitol Police for unlawful conduct after he disrupted a Senate debate on President Trump’s “big, beautiful bill.” During his meltdown, Rogers screamed from the Senate Galleries, calling lawmakers “horrible” and “awful.”
For context, the freak-out occurred between Senator Bernie Sanders’ and Senator Chuck Schumer’s speeches, with the activist ignoring orders to stop his outburst. As the man shouted at the assembled Republicans, Senator Dave McCormick called for the Sergeant at Arms to restore order.
Summarizing the event, the police said, “A man was arrested by Capitol Police on Sunday after interrupting the Senate debate on President Donald Trump’s ‘big, beautiful bill,’ shouting from the Senate Galleries that the lawmakers are ‘horrible.'”Building on this point, the authorities stated, “At approximately 7:00 p.m., our officers arrested a man who started being disruptive in the Senate Galleries.”
Unfortunately, this was far from the first incident of disruptive protests targeting the BBB. As we reported, a conservative influencer revealed on June 25, 2025, “INSURRECTION: Paid protesters from Democrat NGOs occupied the US Capitol today in opposition to President Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill. Flush with cash from a network of Soros and Government funded NGOs the protesters were promised free legal services and bail money in the event they were arrested as many were.”
In the comments under this post, conservatives were outraged by the corrupt NGO scheme. One such comment said, “Set bail at $10m in cash only for each ….if bail is to be granted …should be dealt with same as J6 and no bail and trial in 3 years ….look at 10-20 years as a sentence.”Agreeing, a conservative chimed in to say, “Arrest and jail them all … regardless of age … and we should track down the clowns that fetch folks from nursing homes for these events … liberals are misusing the elderly.”
Advocating for a harsh response, another added, “We have to aggressively continue to uncover and DEfund the NGO loophole for the US government to fund what otherwise is illegal for them to do. We have to aggressively continue to uncover and DEfund the NGO loophole for the US government to fund what otherwise is illegal for them to do.”
Curious about the funding for these protests, a reply asked, “Legal eagles: If someone offers you “bail money” ahead of a planned crime, is the offerer part of a illegal conspiracy — subject to the full weight of the conspiracy statutes?” Answering, one comment stated, “Any protest that is funded is a riot. Those who receive money to cause trouble are thugs and should be arrested and tried. Only fund-free volunteers are called protesters.”

Demanding accountability, one commenter wrote, “Why can’t DoJ put together RICO charges against the funders? Paying an Army to disrupt, harass, impede federal officers, or damage federal property cannot be a 1st Amendment right. I think its a felony.” Agreeing, another wrote, “Capitol Police arrest whoever…..then they go to the headquarters located in the parking lot of the Russell Senate office building. Fifty dollar fine and no record, just release and go and sin no more.”
