Woke Actress Reportedly Locked In “Bitter Feud” with Sydney Sweeney Over Sweeney’s Conservative Politics

New reports are emerging that Euphoria co-stars Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney have major beef between each other due to Sweeney’s alleged conservative political beliefs. The bad blood is now running so deep that the two actresses are even refusing to stand next to each other at events.

Sweeney, 28, has been the subject of controversy over a series of advertisements she participated in for American Eagle, a clothing company, which used the slogan “Sydney Sweeney has great genes.” According to liberals the world over, this clever bit of marketing is “racist,” because, so they claim, it’s coyly referring to her being an attractive white female.

A number of reports are claiming that Sweeney is also a very outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump and is a proud Republican voter. Zendaya, 29, is essentially her polar opposite on the political spectrum, which is no surprise given that Hollywood is essentially a giant toilet bowl of progressive thought. The Spider-Man: No Way Home actress is allegedly upset by Sweeney’s politics, going so far as to refuse to participate in press events with Sweeney for the upcoming third season of their hit television series after filming wrapped up earlier this month.

According to the Daily Mail, an insider familiar with the situation said, “It’s no wonder she’s refusing to do it. It’s a difficult position for Zendaya to be in because if she even stands next to Sydney on the red carpet, it can be read as her excusing Sydney’s views on Trump and her refusal to apologise for the racist ad.”

The report revealed that the two used to be close friends, with Sweeney referring to Zendaya affectionately as “Z.” During the summer, when the American Eagle ad controversy first exploded, the wordplay on the usage of the term “jeans” led many on the far-left to cry with a lung full of exasperated drama that Sweeney is a “white supremacist.” When asked during an interview with GQ about the ad, the White Lotus star refused to apologize, saying, “I’m way more aware about things than people think.”

“The ad spoke for itself. I did a jean ad. The reaction was a surprise. When I have an issue I want to speak about, people will hear.” She then spoke about the support she received for the ad from President Trump and Vice President JD Vance, saying it was “surreal.” For reference, the president said, “She’s a registered Republican? Oh, now I love her ad.”

Zendaya hasn’t been shy about her opposition to Trump. In 2020, the actress shared a post on Instagram going in-depth about voting rights, including the caption, “Vote this MF out,” a reference to President Trump at that time.

Leftists have also been pouncing on Sweeney for her latest film, Christy, a biopic of legendary female boxer Christy Martin, a member of the LGBTQ community, for the film failing financially at the box office. What these individuals fail to understand is that most biopics don’t do well at theaters and are often created as “Oscar bait,” meaning their intention is to win critical and artistic acclaim rather than box office dollars.
