“Why Am I Even Here?”: JD Vance Obliterates Woke CNN Anchor Dana Bash to Her Face for Rudeness [WATCH]

JD Vance blasted Dana Bash during a contentious appearance on CNN’s State of the Union, where he criticized her for her biased coverage of the 2024 election. As proof, then-candidate Vance drew attention to the fact that Bash was debating him instead of waiting for full answers.

For context, this interview was posted on September 15, 2024, during the height of the presidential election. As tensions ran high, many conservatives noticed highly biased coverage from the mainstream media, which often gave Democratic candidates Kamala Harris and Tim Walz preferential treatment.

Beginning his fiery rebuke, Vance demolished woke Dana Bash. He said, “They’re telling me this stuff is happening. Dana, would you like to ask me questions and then let me answer them? Or would you like to debate me on these topics? I noticed that when you had Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, you gave them multiple-choice answers to the questions that you asked and allowed them to answer the questions.”

Continuing to hammer away at the hapless CNN anchor, Vance chastised her for interrupting. He added, “I’m happy to hear to be here to talk about policy, but if you’re going to interrupt me every single time that I open my mouth, then why am I even doing this? So please ask a question, and I’d ask you to be polite enough to let me answer it.”

When a clip of the interaction hit social media, it went massively viral, and conservatives flocked to the comments to congratulate Vance on his epic take down. One of the comments said, “This is effective. See what happens when you don’t resort to name calling and just stay calm and civil?” Another agreed, saying, “Even as he’s saying be polite enough to let me answer… she interrupted him. Unbelievable.”

Building on that point, one user offered a lengthy analysis of the clip. He wrote, “The thing that set Trump apart from the other candidates in 2015 was his fearlessness when being bullied by the media. He shot back. He dished it right back to the media.”

Building on that point, the poster contrasted Trump to cowardly RINOS. He added, “All the other GOP candidates were afraid of upsetting the media. The professional politicians were afraid of being labeled something if they answered a question inelegantly. Not Trump… He didn’t back down, for better or worse.”

Concluding the long post, the user congratulated Vance for following in his footsteps. The comment read, “Good to see others are following in his footsteps. Maybe not as boldly or abrasively, but they are pushing back on activist journalism. Vance does it so well in this clip. Politely and firmly puts an activist in her/their/zir place.”

Rounding out the comments, many of the replies mocked Bash for apparent bias. One of the comments read, “Her flustered reaction is delicious. The only reason she didn’t turn beet red, is because her industrial strength makeup isn’t translucent.” Another user added, “Bash is a mental midget, as are most of her colleagues. Although, inside their bubble they are all geniuses.”
