“Wheel of Fortune” fans were given a glimpse of the next generation of the show when Vanna White’s son kissed Pat Sajak’s daughter on the cheek on the social media page of the show.

Maggie Sajak, son of Pat, interviewed Nikko White as the two talked about what it is like to be the son and daughter of such famous television magnates. The duo joked about the first time that Nikko attempted to kiss Maggie on the cheek.

Maggie started, saying, “We have known each other my whole life.”

Nikko replied, “It’s been a long time.”

Next, Maggie apologized for their first kissing encounter. When Nikko attempted to give Maggie a peck on the cheek, he was met with a slap from the taken-aback star. Now, the two are easily able to joke about the debacle.

“I would like to apologize,” said Maggie.

“That’s the reason why I never tried to kiss you on the cheek again,” Nikko replied.

After that, Nikko finally won his kiss. He plopped one on Maggie’s cheek to end the video.

Maggie Sajak has been all over the news recently, as she has begun playing a fill-in role as Vanna White takes time away from “Wheel of Fortune.” Her first episode was met with emotional praise from her mother and father, according to The American Tribune.

Pat Sajak, the longtime host of “Wheel of Fortune,” is the proud father of his daughter Maggie Sajak, who followed in her father’s footsteps and helped host a recent broadcast of “Wheel of Fortune” alongside her dad.

That came during an emotional moment for host Pat Sajak, who got to introduce Maggie to the “Wheel of Fortune” viewer base as she prepares to step into Vanna White’s shoes and temporarily co-host the show alongside Pat Sajak.

Holding back tears as he welcomed her on stage, Pat Sajak said, “Please welcome my daughter Maggie Sajak.” He then added, “I think I’m going to cry.”

And it wasn’t just Pat Sajak who was getting emotional. Maggie Sajak was too, saying, “Me, too! I’m so happy and I have some iconic high heels to fill… I hope to make Vanna proud.”

According to Fox News, many fans of the show are anxious to see if Maggie Sajak becomes a more full-time member of the cast. As Fox News wrote, many fans of the show have taken to sites like Reddit and Twitter to voice their excitement about the possible next generation of Sajak talent.

Maggie joined Pat for the episode’s farewell message at the end of last year and discussed hosting Christmas Trivia with her father. The 76-year-old host praised his daughter, saying, “You were actually a good host!”

“They are so grooming Maggie Sajak to take over for Vanna. Nepotism at its best!” one user on Reddit wrote.

Another fan expressed anger over the speculation: “The whole Maggie Sajak thing annoys me to no end. I cringe whenever they show her and her made-up “social correspondent” job.”
