In a heartwarming moment involving former President Donald Trump on Wednesday, September 11, a young fan of the former president called on him to make America great again, leading to Trump giving the young boy a high-five. The heartwarming moment led to much praise of the former president on X (formerly Twitter).
The moment came when the former president visited New York City firefighters for the 23rd anniversary of 9/11, in which a huge number of FDNY firefighters perished while heroically trying to rescue those trapped in the Twin Towers before the towers collapsed. During the visit, Trump and his running mate for the 2024 election, Sen. JD Vance, posed for pictures with the firefighters and chatted with them and their families.
Numerous X personalities took the opportunity to share the heartwarming clip. For example, conservative X superstar Chuck Callesto posted, “JUST IN: While visiting firefighters in New York City, boy looks up a Trump and says “President Trump, make America great again!” MAN OF THE PEOPLE..” Similarly, the Proud Elephants X account captioned the video by saying, “What a beautiful moment ❤️🇺🇸.”
Commenters took the opportunity to praise Trump as well. For example, commenters on Chuck’s post said things like, “Children are so comfortable around Trump, and he is comfortable around them…,” “Trump is LOVED by the people because he’s a real person, not another politician programmed by the elites,” and “This is my president. Trump 2024 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸.”
Others joined in as well, saying things like, “This kid gets it! 🤩 This is what it’s all about,” “That boy knows what we are working to accomplish!,” “America, our President Donald J. Trump is genuine–he cares because he is one of US!,” “So heartwarming to see our kids embracing the values we hold dear!,” and “A moment this child will remember the rest of his life. ❤️”

Former President Trump, posting on his Truth Social account about making America great again and what Congressional Republicans must do, wrote, “If Republicans in the House, and Senate, don’t get absolute assurances on Election Security, THEY SHOULD, IN NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM, GO FORWARD WITH A CONTINUING RESOLUTION ON THE BUDGET. In another post, Trump said, “Comrade Kamala Harris goes to an ultra Left Wing, Trump Hating, spice shop, which I hear has terrible, overpriced product, and calls for “unity.” As people begin to realize that she is a Marxist, FAR MORE LIBERAL than Crazy Bernie Sanders, or even Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren, her poll numbers are beginning to crash.
