“Welcome to Minnesota”: Hilarious Ad Exposes Walz’s True Record [WATCH]

A hilarious campaign ad was recently released highlighting the state of Minnesota under Governor Tim Walz’s leadership over the past few years.  The clip features a sarcastically positive commentary about Minnesota, as if it were a travel advertisement for the state, while overlaying it with footage of chaos from riots and other forms of crime.

The ad begins, “Welcome to Minnesota, where every moment is an adventure, from the tranquil natural beauty of our waters,” showing Walz playing fetch with a dog alongside a river. As the footage cuts to the scene of a burned down building, the commentary added, “To the rich culture of our cities.”  Featuring a clip of another building actively on fire, the narrator said, “Minnesota is where unforgettable memories are made.”

“Step into friendly neighborhoods and make you feel right at home the moment you arrive,” the monologue continued, showing a woman being forced to ground and robbed by several criminals followed by a disabled woman in a wheelchair being assaulted by looters and rioters. “Stroll through vibrant streets,” he said over a clip of protestors storming a vehicle on the road.

“Soak in the energy of our dynamic nightlife,” the ad stated as video of another burning building played.  “Or indulge in a shopping spree at one of our world class boutiques,” it said, showing a Target that had been completely looted and destroyed. “And behind it all is strong leadership and inclusive policies that create a place where everyone can thrive in. Minnesota, we’re ready to be your next adventure,” the ad concluded showing Walz alongside clips of rampant homelessness.

Users on social media reacted to the ad, where many weighed in with their firsthand experiences that validate the ad.  “As a Minnesotan, I can confirm this is accurate. Only thing missing are the tranq zombies roaming the streets downtown. It also doesn’t show all the young children living in the roadside tent camps,” one person commented on the video.

“Currently, hopefully not long, I live in MN. They are building tiny houses at crazy prices, and pricing people out of their homes through tax raises. It’s crashing, people are moving and soon rural MN will be low income on assistance, cheap labor. That’s the plan,” another person added.

Another resident of Minnesota weighed in with their perspective after watching the Tim Walz ad.  “Being a life long resident of Minnesota this has me wanting to laugh, cry, and throw up. Minnesota politics have been horribly skewed with hundreds of millions of dark money flooding into the DFL from just a few American oligarchs,” they wrote.

“Minnesota is a cautionary tale for states around the country. Socialists from out of state moved to Minnesota, convinced naive locals to put them in power with lies about how they would govern, and then took a beautiful, clean, educated state and quickly turned it into a place in steep decline. PS: Minnesotans will get angry with me for even saying this, and try to defend record high crime levels, record low test scores, all time record drug overdoses, etc, etc,” another person said, offering their observations of the state.
