Attorney General Pam Bondi has been under fire from the MAGA coalition, including President Trump, as she is accused of not having done enough in the wake of the slaying of Charlie Kirk at the hands of a leftist radical to crack down on such radicals. Perhaps because of that criticism, Bondi has finally taken a tougher line and announced action against the radicals.
Such is what the attorney general announced when she appeared on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” program on the night of Friday, September 26, explaining that those who engage in leftist domestic terrorism are being targeted by the FBI, as are those who fund such chaos. Her comments came not only in the context of the announced crackdown on Antifa, but of the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey.
Beginning, Hannity kicked off the conversation by asking about the alleged conspiracy against President Trump in which Comey was allegedly involved, asking, “I would imagine you’re not allowed to get into the specifics of the case. I won’t waste your time asking you however, when you look at the magnitude of what Kash Patel is saying, a grand conspiracy that from the minute he came down the escalator with Melania all the way through.”
Continuing, Hannity noted that a slew of unfair and absurd attacks were made on the president, saying, “You know Russia, Russia, two impeachments. All the way through the Hunter Biden laptop suppressed. All the way, through weaponization. Pam I’m nervous for the country when I put it all together.”
Responding, Bondi first told him that the “weaponization” of the sort he spoke about is over, as she and the others are cracking down on those who engaged in such weaponization to ensure it doesn’t again occur, saying, “You shouldn’t be nervous any longer because Donald Trump is in office and the weaponization has ended!”
Continuing, she noted that no one who has done wrong is safe from investigation, saying that even those billionaires who fund anti-Trump radical groups, a clear reference to George Soros, aren’t safe from investigation. She said, “We’ve made that very clear. Whether you’re a former FBI director, whether you’re a former head of an intel community. Whether you are a current state or local elected official. Whether you are a billionaire funding organizations to try to keep Donald Trump out of office.”
Concluding, she vowed that the two-tiered system of injustice by which conservatives faced constant scrutiny while leftists got away with anything are over and the left will be held accountable. She said, “Everything is on the table. We will investigate you and we will end the weaponization. No longer will there be a two-tier system of justice and we are working hand-in-hand, Director Patel and I, Todd Blanche, with our incredible intel community. Tulsi Gabbard, John Ratcliffe are going non-stop around the clock. People will be held accountable.”

AG Bondi also posted on X about going after leftist radicals, saying, “I have witnessed the continued onslaught of violence perpetrated against ICE officers across our country. The Department of Justice will not stand idly by in the face of such lawlessness. At my direction, I am deploying DOJ agents to ICE facilities—and wherever ICE comes under siege—to safeguard federal agents, protect federal property, and immediately arrest all individuals engaged in any federal crime.”
She continued, “Pursuant to President Trump’s recent executive action, I am also instructing the Joint Terrorism Task Forces across the country to disrupt and investigate all entities and individuals engaged in acts of domestic terrorism, including the repeated acts of violence and obstruction against federal agents. The Department of Justice will seek the most serious available charges against all participants in these criminal mobs, including conspiracy offenses, assault offenses, civil disorder offenses, and terrorism offenses.”
Concluding, she said, “While these never-ending attacks are designed to break our will, they only strengthen our resolve to complete the work begun. To that end, I have directed the FBI, DEA, ATF, and USMS to accelerate our efforts alongside the Department of Homeland Security to locate, apprehend, detain, prosecute, and remove all illegal aliens present in our country. The rule of law will prevail.”
