“We Train Warriors, Not Wokesters”: Hegseth Shuts Down Pentagon’s Ties with Harvard Amid Trump Feud [WATCH]

The Department of War has announced that it will end all graduate-level professional military education (PME), fellowships, and certificate programs with Harvard University for active-duty service members. While current enrollees can complete their programs, the program will not continue.

For context, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth described the move as “long overdue,” criticizing Harvard as “woke” and a “red-hot center of Hate America activism” with faculty that loathes the military, promotes leftist values, partners with the Chinese Communist Party, tolerates antisemitism, and prioritizes DEI.

Building on this point, he pledged to evaluate similar ties with other Ivy League and civilian universities to ensure cost-effective, mission-aligned education, stating that the department trains “warriors, not wokesters”, and thus has no reason to continue working with and funding far-left Harvard.

In any case, Hegseth, during the epic video, declared, “Harvard is woke; the War Department is not,” adding, “Harvard has become one of the ‘red-hot centers of Hate America activism.'” He also said that the Ivy League institution hates the military.

“Too many faculty members openly loathe our military. They cast our armed forces in a negative light and squelch anyone who challenges their leftist political leanings, all while charging enormous tuition. It’s not worth it,” the Secretary of War noted.

Likewise, he declared, “They’ve replaced open inquiry and honest debate with rigid orthodoxy,” asking, “Why should the War Department support an environment that’s destructive to our nation and the principles that the vast majority of Americans hold dear? The answer to that question is that we should not, and we will not.”

“For too long, this department has sent our best and brightest officers to Harvard, hoping the university would better understand and appreciate our warrior class. Instead, too many of our officers came back looking too much like Harvard — heads full of globalist and radical ideologies that do not improve our fighting ranks,” the Secretary of War explained.

Building on this previous comment, Hegseth added, “The goal is to determine whether or not they actually deliver cost effective strategic education for future senior leaders, when compared to, say, public universities and our military graduate programs.”

Wrapping up his comments, he stated, “At the War Department, we will strive to maximize taxpayer value in building lethality to establish deterrence. It’s that simple. That no longer includes spending millions of dollars on expensive universities that actively undercut our mission and undercut our country,” adding, “We train warriors, not wokesters. Harvard, good riddance.”

Reacting to these comments on social media, a user declared, “🚨 BREAKING: The left is furious after SecWar Pete Hegseth just ABOLISHED all military education, fellowships and certificate programs with HARVARD University…I VOTED FOR THIS!”

Another said, “Finally! Pete Hegseth just told woke Harvard to pound sand. No more sending our warriors to get brainwashed by globalist radicals.” Agreeing, another stated, “Cutting off the Ivy League pipeline that’s turning officers into leftists. This is how you restore the warrior ethos. Trump admin delivering again!”
