“We Dodged a Nuclear Bullet on This Drunk”: Kamala Gets Roasted for Wildly Non-Sensical Statement During Vegas Speech[WATCH]

Former Vice President Kamala Harris delivered another bizarre word salad talk in Las Vegas, telling Democrats that feeling powerless makes them powerless while feeling powerful makes them powerful. She repeated that the audience was powerful before asking everyone to demonstrate their power. Her appearance also included a detour into babies born because of her campaigns and a profanity-laced attack on President Donald Trump.

Harris spoke during a May 7th, 2026, fireside chat hosted by the Nevada State Democratic Party ahead of the midterm elections. Near the end, she was asked what people frustrated with the political situation could do to get involved. She discussed volunteering and checking voter registration before veering into the personal relationships formed through campaigns, then delivered her closing declaration about power.

“I firmly and strongly believe that when you feel powerless, you are powerless, and when you feel powerful, you are powerful, and we are powerful, and we are powerful, and so let’s just show ourselves, each other, our power around the midterms,” Harris said. Sharing the video, an X user wrote, “Yes, we dodged a nuclear bullet on this drunk…” The account added, “I wonder if she feels stupid because she is stupid?”

Just before that closing statement, Harris took a conversational side trip into campaign romance. In the full recording, she acknowledged that she was digressing and described campaigning as fun, praising the people participants meet. Then came an unusual entry in the list of her political accomplishments: “There are babies that have been born because of my campaigns. Marriages and babies and all that, right?”

Earlier, Harris twice used “bulls—” while attacking Trump’s comments about Iran. She then blamed her interlocutor for getting her to swear, promised to stop cursing in public and referred to the gathering as a room of friends. During the discussion of voting rights, she also suggested that the Supreme Court had timed a decision to give states an opportunity to redraw congressional boundaries before the midterms.

Harris’s habit of getting stuck on a phrase was also on display during a March 21st, 2022, speech promoting high-speed internet in Sunset, Louisiana. The official remarks record four references to the passage of time in one stretch. “The Governor and I and we were all doing a tour of the library here and talking about the significance of the passage of time. Right? The significance of the passage of time.”

“So, when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time in terms of what we need to do to lay these wires, what we need to do to create these jobs,” Harris continued. She then shoehorned children into it: “And there is such great significance to the passage of time when we think about a day in the life of our children and what that means to the future of our nation, depending on whether or not they have the resources they need to achieve their God-given talent.”

That same Louisiana appearance included an accidental promotion for then-Gov. John Bel Edwards. While thanking him, Harris called him a president, corrected herself and then tried the title again. “You’ve been a great president — a great partner to the President and me as we move forward,” she said, before laughing. “A great president of your state.”
