In the wake of the horrific assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, many people left messages of support for former President Trump and of thanks that he survived. His children and wife did so, for example, sharing heartwarming messages about their dad and husband. Stars like Jason Aldean joined in as well.
Aldean, doing so on social media, posted the iconic photo of the bloodied former president pumping his fist in the air as the Secret Service agents surround him and usher him off stage. That photo was seen widely around the internet and real world, as it managed to be awe-inspiring and classically Trump at the same time.
Aldean said, in his post about Trump that included that awesome photo, “This is what a Warrior looks like! This is MY guy.” Continuing, he wrote, [Donald Trump] we are thinking about [you] and praying for you and your family. God has a bigger plan for you my friend and I think we all know what that is by now.” He added, “My heart goes out to the victims families as well. They are the ones left to pick up the pieces of this cowardly act.”
Also commenting on the matter was country star John Rich, who quoted from the Bible and indicated that he thinks an angel ensured the bullet didn’t his Trump. He said, “‘The angels of the Lord encamp around those who fear Him, and delivers them’. -Psalm 34:7 Somewhere, there’s an angel with a bullet hole through his wing. Thank you Lord for protecting DJT.”
Trump ally Kid Rock released a video in which he, shirtless and wearing a “white boy of the year” ball cap, said, as ominous music played in the background of the video, “You f*ck with Trump, you f*ck with me!” he snapped the words with a scowl across his face. Watch him here:
Actor and director Tim Robbins chimed in as well, saying, “To anyone drawing a parallel between my film Bob Roberts and the attempted assassination of Trump, let’s be clear. What happened yesterday was a real attempt on a presidential candidate’s life. Those that are denying the assassination attempt was real are truly in a deranged mindset. A human being was shot yesterday. Another killed. They may not be human beings that you agree with politically but for shame folks. Get over your blind hatred of these people. They are fellow Americans. This collective hatred is killing our souls and consuming whatever is left of our humanity,” he wrote to X.
Kid Rock also shared a GoFundMe for the Trump supporters who were hit by bullets at the rally. It has so far raised over 3.6 million dollars and provides, “President Donald Trump has authorized this account as a place for donations to the supporters and families wounded or killed in today’s brutal and horrific assassination attempt. All donations will be directed to these proud Americans as they grieve and recover. May God bless and unite our nation.”
